Venusaurs dig holes to lay its egg into. The egg is then nested in leafs of certain flowers and covered with soil. The leafs, which will rot during the incubation process, serve as nutrition and fertilizer for the newly hatched Bulbasaur. Venusaur only lays one single egg in their life.
