I'm Fish from Finland. 21 years old and currently studying at University. I've been drawing all my life but only turned to digital art after Yoi inspired me. I also started writing fan fiction for the first time thanks to Yuri on Ice.

Thin air? I often hear from my friends and family that my mind works in a little weird way and I do regularly find myself thinking of something completely random... Of course other times I might see funny memes or good fan fiction scenes I'd like to draw, or I already have a theme I'm trying to fulfill and inspiration just runs from there.

YOI is a gift that keeps on giving and inspired a lot of firsts!

I've learned so much, and by no means are these things limited to only art related things, but if I'd choose one, I'd say a whole new area of expressing myself. I've always drawn, but drawing yoi fan art was the first time I drew digital art, the first time I drew fan art in any serious way and the first time I ever posted my art like this for others to see. And now I can't imagine not doing this, it's become a huge part of me.

Hi! Sorry if this has been asked before or if it's obvious but I was wondering, if the participant choosing is to be anonymous, should signatures/blognames be covered in art submissions?

While it does make blind applications easier, we understand the concern about art theft and reposting. If you are not comfortable submitting a watermark-free image to us, having a watermark of your handle or blog name in the piece itself will not prevent your application from being reviewed. However, if you are willing to, another option is adjusting the opacity of the watermark to make it less obtrusive. Thanks!
