Finally I can share this! This is my first piece for the @isekaiyoizine !!

I chose Georgi and the alternative zombie universe, and it was a great experience working with him. I’m really grateful for the opportunity! There’s two more pieces to reveal!

A traveler from Asia Major, who dreams of seeing “the kingdom west of the sea” with his own eyes, is captured in Macedonia on his way to Rome, becoming a slave called Eros. Before the death of his owner Cælestīnus, he is freed and ends up as a secretary to the invincible Roman emperor, Victorius Augustus, a Macedonian from Nikiforos. The pair fall in love but do not confess their feelings until Iūrius uncovers a conspiracy against the emperor, saving Victorius’ life. This is a lineart I finished in February for the @isekaiyoizine, but I started it over a year ago, before the zine came around! As much as I wanted an Ancient Roman AU with Victuuri, I wasn’t sure how to make it work at first. I mean, a Japanese and a Russian in Ancient Rome makes no sense in reality, so I had to sort that out before getting to work. I really wanted a fic to accompany the art. Thankfully, I got an offer from @sakurawindchime who not only is an incredible writer but has a BA in History with specialization in Ancient Rome. She wrote a story that appears in the Gehen (R-18) Edition of the zine, with another art by me, where Victorius and Iūrius celebrate another successful campaign in Gaul 😉 Some facts about the opening art * Victor‘s breastplate references the Augustus of Prima Porta cuirass; I made the dog look like Makkachin because of course I did * Yakov (Iakōbos, Greek Jew) is Victor’s physician [ Tumblr tag ] [ Twitter thread ] [ Project on AO3 ]

Eros, Thief In A Bind

Fandom: Yuri On Ice Rating: E Pairing: Yuuri/Viktor Tags: Historical AU, Phantom Thief AU, Light BDSM, Sexual Roleplay, Consensual Kink, Established Relationship, Aftercare, Backstory, Epilogue, Almost completely PWP, Part 2 of 2 Synopsis: “The elusive thief Eros, bound and powerless at last.” Viktor drawls as his gaze slides over the man currently laying on his bed, both hands securely cuffed to the metallic bed frame. Eros, for his part, gives a look of complete indifference to his current predicament, with an easy smirk and relaxed poise even as the handcuffs dig into his wrists. When he speaks, his tone is cool and even, “And the legendary detective Viktor Nikiforov, chaining his nemesis to a bed. What would the people say if they knew their beloved hero entertained the same sort of fantasies only a den of iniquity dared provide for?” Viktor chuckles at that. This was my first time taking part of a zine, and it happened at the same time I got my new job, so there are many things I wish I could’ve done better and that I don’t like… but I’m trying to stay happy about the fact that I at least finished the damn thing!!!

for my part, I wanted to show Yuuri and Viktor in an universe where everything goes the same way as the original, but instead of ice skating, it’s painting and drawing. I could only use two pages, so I tried to summarize this idea as much as I could with my limited space… 

 I hope those who bought the book liked what they saw!!
