Raijin could not help but glance at Fang and smile as he watched her with the kids.  The boys went to bed with no arguments or complaints and were alseep before he was even two pages into a story. As he closed the door to their room, Raijin took Fang’s hand in his.

“I love you..”  He murmured before pulling her close and kissing Fang softly.

Fang smiled looking to him after the boys were old cold sleeping. She returned the kiss and leaned against him gently as well. "I love you too, Rai. "

It was far too easy to feel more like her long lost self with him and his children with her. She enjoyed the family life with them all. The way with kids that she had with them came in extra handy but the boys loved her. She had grown very fond of everyone and it showed as she kissed Raijin's cheek.

“That’s definitely the shining star of what makes you great, Rai,” Selphie replied, shaking her head with a small giggle. “But! You’re also really super strong, yet you’re so kind and sweet at the same time, and you have a great sense of humor, too! What’s not to like?”

She had been working in the kitchen working on dinner when he caught her attention. Fang had finished putting the roast in for a good cooking when Raijin pulled in close and kissed her. She blinked before returning it and smiling.

"Mm, must like what I'm cooking."

She still had five minutes to decide on what to wear for the evening, unable to choose between a simple little black dress or something looser and more colorful, and she was standing in front of a mirror, holding up one dress and then the other, in nothing but a skimpy lacy number she hadn’t gotten the chance to wear yet. But then her door opened, and Selphie shrieked and covered herself before she realized it was Raijin letting himself in, just as she’d told him he could.

“Ah, Raijin! You’re early! ...Aren’t you?”

Trail of Rose Petals Reaction: When Raijin had asked Selphie, who'd also had no plans, to join him for Valentines he'd expected that maybe they would grab dinner and watch old B- movies. This was quiet the surprise. Albeit a vet pleasant one. Raijin smirks and removes his tie as he moves to join her on the be. "Well, Happy Valentines."

Maybe this was a bit overkill, but hey, she didn’t really have any better plans for the day.

She’s lounging quite comfortably on the bed when he walks in, and she offers him a smile as he takes off his tie and pushes herself up to sit. “Happy Valentine’s to you, too.” She says, holding out an arm to gesture to the other decorations in the room. “This isn’t too much, is it?”

Selphie holds her pose a bit too long though, and an unusual brightness by her wrist makes her glance back at her hand; the sleeve of the robe is quickly being engulfed by the flame of a candle, the fabric not even trying to resist the fire. She shrieks and tries to shake it out, then swats at it with her other hand, as though ‘stop, drop, and roll’ has left her mind for the time being.

"I know we were supposed to go out tonight." Raijin sighs exasperated as he runs around trying to find all the papers and things he needs to bring into work with him. "But between the boys having the flu and this stuff with the board.. I'm beat, you know. Would you mind if we just stayed in tonight. We can open a good bottle of wine, and I'll cook something special."

Moving, Fang grabbed up the paperwork where she remembered he had laid it and handed it to him properly so he wouldn't lose them. "I'm content with that my dear. I would love something home cooked and just to spend time with you. The boys will be okay while you are at work and I'll keep my eyes on them. Might even let them curl up and sleep while a movie or three go on with the television for the day."

“But I don’t want to try and blend in and please your boss and let him get away with those remarks he’s made about me. I heard him you know.” The words were grumbled out from a very annoyed and very tense Fang while she tried to keep her posture and pride at the work get together of her boyfriends.
