Pregnancy is the start of that brand new journey that you and your partner are beginning.
As a mum of 3 knowing how quick time flies, my pregnancies are a blur, yes my body has changed and I can see I carried my 3 beautiful babies. But actually remembering that feeling, remembering what I looked like, while my body amazing allowed this little person to grow... nope can’t remember a sausage.
Now I get that maternity / bump photographer isn’t for everyone, but if there is even slight curiosity, don’t hesitate, there are magical solutions I can come up with, so you don’t have to even be able to see you clearly, silhouettes are amazing, as shown above.
If you don’t want to do the whole posing, let’s go out into the big wide world, capture you naturally, having a walk, with your other child/children, or your pooch. The options are endless.
Dont have regrets! Embrace this time.
Here are a few tips and tricks for while your carrying your bundle
Puddleducks- antenatal swimming, cardio vascular exercise and generally relax for mum to be.
Pregnancy pillows- for me was a must have m, sleeping was unbearable without this little beauty.
Places to shop when pregnant, mothercare is fantastic, H&M are really upping there game.
By my 3rd child I had learnt a few lessons, don’t over buy, now my first, he must have had the whole of next in his wardrobe, and most didn’t even get worn, still had tags on them.
So by number 3, I brought basics, vests, babygrows, and literally a few outfits, personally for my babies they lived in baby grows for the first 3 months because it’s comfortable for them, buttons and zips, jeans and uncomfortable materials, just wasn’t for me.
Everyone else will buy you a ruck load of closes, at your baby shower, grandparents love to just buy every opportunity they have. Embrace it, it saves you money.
My main top wild be to stock up on nappies, every size possible as many as possible, because they are expensive, and you run out fast, I had a closet full of nappies , wetwipes & creams. Stock up!
Hope my tips and suggestions help you through this a little. And I wish you well with your pregnancy and birth.
