A flower bed does not have to be complicated, a long row of colour provided by the mophead hydrangea in this shady part of the garden really transforms this space! Superb find today in downtown Pasadena – the Ambassador Auditorium. One of the last vestiges of Ambassador College, the hall is at the edge of the Ambassador Gardens, what remains of much bigger gardens after much of the land was sold for development. Gigantic trees, lush plantings, an unexpected abundance of water features, and some dramatic vistas with the San Gabriels in the distance, all bounded by large mansions, expensive condos, the Auditorium, and a Christian high school. Informative plaques fill in the history of what you are seeing.
