Murphy finds an abandoned puppy and convinces Bellamy and Echo to let him keep it!

Okay, it wasn’t on purpose that Murphy brought a puppy home, alright? He was just walking home and “the little guy came running at me! Directly at me! I couldn’t just leave the little cutie pie, could I?”
And Bellamy and Echo aren’t sure which of them have better puppy dog eyes, the actual puppy or Murphy.
They try to tell him no, he has to bring it to the pound or put posters up or something.
Murphy says he’ll put posters up, but if no one calls, they can keep him, right?
And they try to say no, if no one calls within a few weeks he’s going to the pound or being sold, but they just can’t, so they say maybe.
They think Murphy’ll try to just play with the puppy, who Murphy insists on calling Riff Raff after the character from Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the two of them will have to do all of the work, but Murphy does everything for him.
He teaches him how to sit and lay down and stay and go outside to do his business, but still cleans up whenever Riff Raff has an accident. He scolds him, but doesn’t get too angry.
He watches a bunch of YouTube videos on how to train dogs and how to be a good owner and how to make homemade dog cookies and what food they can and cannot eat.
He gets up every morning to take him for a walk.
It’s actually good for Murphy, because it gives him something to take care of, a purpose, which Murphy’s been struggling with since he finished school and couldn’t find a job and was feeling really bad about himself.
He still sometimes has bad days, but he knows he has to take care of Riff Raff, so he has to get up and out of bed.
And when Riff Raff learns a new trick or does something good, Murphy feels proud of himself, like he accomplished something.
Eventually, Murphy starts a YouTube channel and it eventually gets pretty big and that becomes his job, which is his favorite thing, because it gives him a purpose, a way to make money, a way to contribute, and he doesn’t have to deal with other people or leave Riff Raff.
The first piece of fanart Murphy got was a drawing of him and Riff Raff cuddling, which he hung up on the wall straight away.
There was a few awkward moments in the beginning when the three of them would be in the middle of sex and then Riff Raff would cry and Murphy would go running to him, sometimes resulting in all three of them falling off of the bed.
It takes them a few weeks to realize that there’s nothing wrong and he’s just doing it for attention.
Eventually, Bellamy and Echo love Riff Raff almost as much as Murphy does.
He makes a good foot warmer for Echo and she’ll listen to Bellamy practice all of his lectures.
When Murphy visits either of them at work, he always gets stopped because he always brings Riff Raff with him.
People at the law firm Echo works at have started bringing treats with them to give Riff Raff.
Murphy will sometimes bring a book or his laptop or something and sit in the middle of the courtyard at the college Bellamy works at and some of the students will lay down with him and he’ll kiss their faces and cuddle them, which is especially helpful during Finals Week.
Honestly, Murphy would love any dog, but I’m imagining something like Jenna Marbles’ dog, Kermit:
