Earlier when giving Moonstone her meds, I had the honor of having her pee for me. She was on a pee pad which did its job. I had been wondering if her left hind leg lameness might be due to kidney issues. Her pee was perfect so no kidney concerns, no sludge, yay! And she seemed shocked that I seemed grateful and even groomed her butt a little. She was starting to have some cecals stick to her fur but I pulled most of them out with my fingers. Sudden realization that I'm trying to help her dawned on this cute face. She goes in for rads and more blood work later this week. It's me Graham saying a big thank you to everyone for wishing my Papa hoomin a happy birthday today. It was a very long, hard day with early rising to take Moonstone and Ashley on the +110 mile round trip to the vet. The bunny limo broke down when picking up the bunnies so the vet tech drove them to Mama hoom's papa's place very nearby so could borrow granddaddy's car to drive home. But first he had to change a flat tire and put the donut on and drive home in holiday weekend traffic! But he's home (his team is losing though). And we had sad news about Moonstone which Mama hoomin will fill you in on tomorrow but she's home, she's ok, she has a painful condition which she's comfortable being treated for and her husbun, Latté, is loving her up. We are all exhausted and a bit stressed though but thank you all for your touching comments to Papa H! He was very touched and a bit misty eyed. Be safe everyone! Hay hay hay! All you #InstaGraham fans! Haven't forgotten about Mr. Axl Nose, have you? Graham the venerable minilop gentleman hasn't seen you much because we were trying not to move him around too much so his broken leg could heal, for lack of a better word since it's not really all better, it's just how it's going to be henceforth. Great news! Graham's long time eye discharge, which cleared up with pain management and is still gone! His eyes look great except for dirty fur around one eye thanks to his neighbor, Orion, who is still sprinkling eau d'Orion here and there which gooped up Graham's fur a bit. Graham's ears were also pretty clear! He still had one small glob of wax pretty much unchanged though so his ears were cleaned and he was SO good! He appreciated it plus his eye fur miniwash. He did not seem uncomfortable with his gimpy leg at all! He's been hopping around a lot in his pool! So he will remain on pain meds for the rest of his life, like most old folks! It was so good to see my rock star buddy! Hooray for Graham! He made me SO happy! He's a tough & happy old rabbit dude! Happy Friday everybun and hoomin! This is Moonstone letting you know that that Mama hoomin and Papa hoom are ending a stressful week on a good note because in the end, at the end of the day, this Friday, stress really is a self-inflicted wound which you alone allow to fester and snowball. So do some #bunnybuddhism or follow @bunnybuddhism to learn how we bunnies handle things so much more successfully than hooms. Mama hoom says I'm so much like Queen Josephine that it helps heal the wound from the Queen's bridgehop. I love this weird hoomie, can you tell?
