Poppy Playtime

After three years, I was finally given the opportunity to make an updated version of all the characters from Poppy Playtime in one massive illustration! Possibly my most ambitious illustration I've ever done. With this taking 68 hours to complete and having over 100+ characters featured, I wanted to make sure every single one of them got the same amount of attention and detail with out error. This holds a new record for most amount of characters in an illustration and I'm so happy how it turned out in the end. Consider this being a form of my love-letter to Poppy Playtime. ❤️ Speedpaint

Also, Bunzo is saying he eats wet food from the sink and washes it down with ketchup water, lil freak. Catnap is horrified, and later goes to vent to Crafty. I know Bobby is also there, but Catnap always vents to Crafty cuz she’s more understanding.

bun bun timeline!!! wanted to give them more attention since they are real close to val before and after her becoming a doey lore belowww

age 8: parents lefts their child at playcare after a tour, they tried calling their parents but never answer so they decided to care for the child, often wearing baggy clothes and often preferred being called they them when val join day care they would of been 10-11, they became roommates since they couldnt find a place for val to stay so she moved in with them, val taught them to open up more and be the person they want to be instead of what others want them, even saw them as family (she also taught sam to enjoy math since she was trying to work on collage homework) sam even was able to take her last name since in a year or two there were new staff and kids so a name change was somewhat easy

once buck was born they started giving him care since they wanted to give the love that val gave them in a way one day some weird employee was bugging buck and she gave him a earful, warning him itll cost his job

after a day or two, she just. woke up as a bunzo, clearly showing her confusion made them almost panic once she was level headed to speak she shown she had NO IDEA what being chosen was about so, whoops wrong kid. at least they were a success they were able to reunite, once again had a nice daughter mother combo but dealt with the hardships down there however, they had horrible dysphoria, val and bun bun practice voice training her now is confident and often second in charge, her a buck are super close and she enjoys her new brother poe just wish he didnt cause that much trouble
