hi huge fan of your works # forever and i gotta say. i gotta sayyy. your kcd piece finally got me to play it… (remembers my priorities) peterstakh. pathologic 2/3 peterstakh even. how do stakhs friends react to his Very Normal and Not Concerning relationship with pyotr… do they know. are they even aware. will they ever find out. if they do find out does lara kill him in 20 different ways. do they kill grief in 20 different ways so the word doesn’t get out
hi sweet pea. thank you seven million years for your patience as i answer this a month and 20 days later. first of all Let's check out KCD. together. i still can't play games so i'm back to my usual of hogging playthroughs like they're my personal jesters amusing me. fool, fool, more moving pictures. show me the pebble at once. anyways let's focus on the important peterstakh matters. the importanrstakhers.
my first Dis Claimer is that i still haven't been able to go through all of P3. my first mitigation to that is It prolly doesn't matter since they literally haven't spoken to each other in any of the previous games so i am doubtful they'll start doing so now. except if my tasty peterstakh cellar stocks are being reheated in-game like was reheated my sigil placement on burakh 🤨 i fully jest.
okay so i'm going to put it under a read more because i just realized it's seven million years long. okay. happy peterstakh dimanche everyone
anyways Stakh's friends are aware. they are because it's not like he's particularly secretive about it. he doesn't go around screaming it on the rooftops, but he doesn't live in a terrible sexual shame at being with a man (he was in the army [p1 lore that i abide by]. he's way past hating himself for being into men Unlike Someone Unrelated), or terrible personal shame at being with that one in particular. he's already got so many targets painted on his back, you know? the town has not reached "i can excuse sodomy, but i draw the line at desecration of a corpse" level, but it's coming close. what's anyone gonna do? he's 206cm. he's 6'9" (the crowd giggles). he's not very muscular, but he's mildly intimidating-looking. he's killed people. he's interweaved in a web of violence and hurt that his association with peter Does Not Help Untangle, but barely tangles further too.
when shit starts hitting the fan with the twins, and everything spirals around their deeds, he gets pulled into the turmoil through this association, but not any more than would be, for example, Dankovsky, who has an ideological affiliation with the twins, whereas Stakh does not, and it is this great ideological divide that gets peter hot under the already-opened collar. stakh can, fully and honestly, say he has no attachment to the Tower, glass rose in the sky over Valdrada, it molded like a lead cap over the Bridge Square, and his only attachment is to the man who's created her, whereas Dankovsky cannot, cannot lie his away into detachment from the marvel, the miracle, the everything-thing, the dreamed realized and actualized and lived, the evil bloodmare, the infected splinter.
.
Lara is the first one to know. i don't see why she would attempt on either of their lives. by all means she's not. particularly Thrilled because petr's Not So Spotless Reputation Precedes Him. because stakh is associating with a man hunted down for murder, and by proxy with another one, meaner and nastier and who is seen wielding weapons and dealing pisstaste samogon and hashish and evil weed that makes you scared. so she's like "Are you sure are you fucking certain". but then he's like "... yes... (blushes)" and she's like Oh my god so it is true that the portraits these two guys paint steal the soul of whoever is painted because they replaced stakh's brain with a sweetiepie. but she comes to realize it's Him, despite everything, it's still [him], and she's like okay.......
she knew about the liking guys thing because She was still in the town all this time while burakh was seven gazillion kilometers away for all these years, so when stakh came back from the war with a bayonet scar on the forehead and the back of his neck and a blade-shock that made him stare into the distance, and he told her You Know I Found Out Something About Men In The Army she was like "huh. oh yeah my father told me about that. jokingly and praiselessly and with a hint of disgust. but i've heard of it."
she's most willing to keep her mouth about it, as with that earlier knowledge she has the context that Maybe Don't Go Screaming That Around. but also Stakh proves again and again he does not need her protection for that in particular. but for seven millions other problems yes.
so she personally Is at the I can excuse sodomy, but do not bring his bad vibes into my house level. i'll tell you something. lara has so much hurt and anger and hatred and grief inside of her heart. it's all-consuming. so i think the fact that stakh is with somewhat of an evil guy she's like I've Known Worse Evils.
.
Burakh finds out a bit later. this is because he's a bit thick in the head re:relationships and while he knows of the concept of homosexuality it didn't hit him that it could land on people he's very close to (and then, yknow. the specter of homosexuality after him like the plague alongside it whispering the same sweetnesses in his ears too). i go back and forth on whether i go with the burakh war medic lore but when i do He's Heard Of What Soldiers Go About With Each Other. so when he asks stakh "how did you... huh... figure that out" and stakh replies "i was in the army" deadpan he's like oooh right makes sense. but also burakh Was out of town for all these years, he left stakh long-haired and as far as he knew straight and he comes back he's gay and bald. the latter being possibly more shocking than the former.
burakh cannot tell him shit about fuck about being with that guy in particular. first of all because his... Associate is as close to peter as one can be without crossing The Last Frontier which is stakh's deal, so he can't fault stakh for his association, because he himself is associated by proxy. the barrier between himself and peter is one dude (dankovsky), and the barrier between stakh and peter is. technically and quite often also one dude but that's because he's been peter only friend since they were in the womb and he hasn't updated his world concept model to account for peter forging new kinds of affections for new people. no but for real the burakh -> peter interface is the living person of dankovsky, and the stakh -> peter interface is skin, and even that, because peter can And Will infuse dreams in which stakh can put his hand in the hollow between the meat his lungs #aww #couplegoals (the real ones know)
Burakh can ESPECIALLY not tell him shit about fuck because 1) as far as Bad Things A Man Can Do um. well Burakh is partaking in the ritualistic killing of women (p1 day 5 "Quivering Heart" quest, p2 day 9), killing of Kin people (p1 day 5 "Quivering Heart" quest other option), or killing regardless (any and all self-defense optional kills) so. possibly worse than romantically and sexually associating with that dude even if that dude is fuckeddd in the head 2) he and stakh are both aiming for gold in the Suicidalest Boyfriend Competition. and let's just say stakh is VERY competitive
burakh is like. "so are you happier [implied: with him]...?" and rubin is like "what? fucker i'm miserable, you're miserable, peter's miserable, dankovsky's miserable, andrey, bad grief, lara, we're all fucking miserable. what the fuck do you think is going on. have you looked around you the past 3 days. ... (blushes) but he makes me a bit less miserable." and burakh is like Oh my god please never blush again that's so fucking scary.
.
funnily enough i think bad Grief is the one who'd have more a problem with it. again he is on the "i can excuse sodomy" level he excuses sodomy. have i ever said on here i think bad Grief's bisexual? anyways bad Grief is bisexual to me. so he's fine with stakh's man-loving. he's fine with peter's man-loving. the fact that the man peter loves is an old friend of his is still a bit harder to swallow. not because he had any feelings to stakh but because he. okay so have i ever said on him i see he and andrey entangled in a sort of turf war over twyrine and drugs and weapons. andrey does not deal in weapons, bad grief does, but andrey knows his way around killing as much as bad Grief and his suite do. also Grief sells twyrine, and you know else who does? that's damn right, andrey. you know who praises Grief's twyrine? that's damn right, peter. peter, who andrey has all sorts of terrible feelings about being the primary supplier of his addiction material, but also his very protective behavior morphs terribly and uglily and selfishly into wanting to be the only one to get his brother his twyrine, because it gives him the illusion of mitigation of his brother's sinking. and another thing, you know how bad Grief's russian name, Гриф, means "vulture". and you know who i see as associated with vultures/bird of preys. that's fucking right, the twins in general, but andrey more in particular. anyways i think Grief and andrey have like. a thing..... of undistinguished nature. mostly andrey is like That Bitch Owes Me Moneyyyy and chases after him. they're wielding knives on each other and shittt. so when stakh comes out with Yeah this is the long-haired wizard who's cursed my cold hardened heart, Grief is like. there was not another dude you could fall for you moron. because now there's Double stamatins he has to deal with. and even if it's andrey who's after his ass [metaphorically](?) he's not too happy seeing peter there. like they have mirrored moles on the face and mirrored lateral incisor unilateral agenesis what's not to say andrey could not pass himself off as peter to come closer to Grief if stakh comes to visit to beat his ass by surprise. and stakh can be like Andrey would rather pull all of his teeth out than be in my company like that. and Grief is like Maybe that's what he wants to make you think☝
and even if through Grief The Rumor Come Out that stakh is with that guy what can anyone do. what could happen. the whole town knows andrey's bi, so i think people finding out peter is too is not surprising. it might heighten their disgust or mistrust or [...] of him, but for most, even Grief's suite, i think it'd be like. Huh well that would have been weirder if he wasn't. he and his brother, again, have mirrored this and that and the other, are almost perfectly same height and almost perfectly same weight, so i think people would be like "Yeah man i'd have guessed that myself. also bossman we kill people". same for stakh, where the combination of him towering over anyone so can barely be intimidated, his War Stare and his seven million other shit going on make people Least Interested in his sexual affairs. when shit starts hitting the fan with the twins, he's pulled into the turmoil through this association, but so is anyone else who knows them.
tldr: stakh tasting the saliva off that long-haired man's canines is the least of the vast majority of people's problems, because he's on that Evil Shadow Skull Shit regardless of whether he tastes the saliva off the teeth of a man, and opposite him are other people on that Evil Shadow Skull shit who are not tasting the saliva off that long-haired man's teeth specifically. but they might another.
MARK IMMORTELL canonically. he has a cane canonically, now whether or not the game wants us to believe he uses it for real or it's an accessory... for real to me. in my mind's eye he has sciatica. it acts up on and off so sometimes he'll be prancing around like a goat swaying his cane like he's trying to hit people with it, sometimes he uses it for real, and sometimes he has a fanciful little wheelchair when the pain's too bad to stand on his two legs. in which case he still holds his cane for hitting people purposes. his cane is a constant thing.
Yulia... she also mentions Leg Problem in P2 so Joy the cane be upon ye. i think her deal is a repetitive strain injury of tendinitis in the knee & ankle, and she never got enough rest for it to heal properly, never did physical therapy, so now, like other types of tendinitis, it flares up from use & some movements/postures. as the rainy & cold season approach, she gets more and more sedentary because the weather makes tendinitis worse by stiffening the tendons, so it gets in vicious cycles of Stiff tendons from the cold -> even less easy to do some stretches to help with the pain -> tendons get stiffer from no stretchin -> even less easy to do some stretches... her cane is an on and off thing, but becomes regular as fall & winter roll around
Notkin as he grows up. in p1 & 2 his spoken dialog mentions (a) bad leg(s); considering his mom died in childbirth (likely His birth) in my mind's eye his bad leg(s) is attributed to having been pulled out of there Fucked Uply. mom didn't make it through a complicated birth and baby got a leg messed up when they hurried to get him outta here. adolescence and getting taller gets him apophysitis (a bone + cartilage inflammation/strain injury often seen in teens because the bones grow faster than the muscles around them) in his knee and he never gets to have the rest needed for it to heal properly so as an adult, while the pain is mostly gone, it flares up sometimes. he's way past giving a fuck what anyone might think about seeing him limp with a cane in hand so he periodically, but quite often uses one. also might use it to hit people.
Khan occasionally once he gets into his mind that it's not a big deal & if he needs it he needs it. he already has a messed up knee as a kid (p2 model bandage) but i'm still deciding how extensive of a wound that is. more than what that is i think this guy gets inflammatory arthritis as a plague residual symptom, and while most of it is concentrated in his hands, fingers and wrists, it sometimes, rarely, attacks his ankles & knees, which is when he gets on his legs wobbly like a newborn foal. while his coping mechanism for it is to lie down and suffer through gritted teeth because he still has in mind that showing pain is showing weakness and is undignified of a man of his rank (the imaginary kingdom he once had) he eventually, from being yelled at "hey moron CATCH" and thrown a cane at, gets into his mind that he should use one for such moments and not even his Mortal Enemy* will care. his own would be a fanciful thing, black-lacquered wood, silver rings, a silver dog's head at the end of the handle. too proud and proper to hit people with it but he can't say he doesn't think about it.
Burakh, later in his life (his 40s). he also has a bad leg as of Being In His Twenties, but copes and manages without a physical aid for a while. he's on homemade painkillers and various rest regiments (when he can). when it gets too bad & arthritis sets in around 40s he's on that wood and bone tool in a blink and keeps it. maybe his father used on in his old(er) age... he reuses it...
Do you think daniil and/or artemy can ice skate? Who would you think is better at it/enjoys it more? I love your brain
Yessiree I do.
Dankovsky is better at it because he's had more practice — regardless of if the Capital is Moscow or St-Petersburg (depending on when one thinks Pathologic takes place [pre- or post-1917 revolution]), he grew up here and both of these cities from what I'm gathering have a history of popular ice skating spots. He'd go with his mama and kept going until her legs became too bad to ice skate. As a grown man he's sometimes slipped away from his lab to melancholically ice skate to clear his mind. This much is true.
Burakh also got to experience ice skating a bit, but less: the Gorkhon river, because it is full of animal blood and guts and lard and the machinery rust and oil from the Termitary, doesn't freeze over very well, and his dad had multiple times told him to not wander on the ice because it was unstable. At most, and he and his friends needed to wait until the tributaries of the gorkhon to the south froze over, and even then it was sloshy ice. When he was sent to the Capital to study, he did indulge in ice skating at the same rinks Dankovsky is familiar with.
Nowadays with his bad leg he does not ice skate as much... but when visiting Dankovsky at the capital, if he lets himself be convinced, he'll follow. He'll have him pull him like a work work so he doesn't have to move his legs too much. Childish behavior!
slightly on the topic of the last ask slightly/alot not but: in general how do you think sticky, and especially murky interact with dankovsky? like sticky seeing him as a doctor/role model in that way seems quite natural. how do you think sticky sees rubin? do they bond.. they have a lot of similarities in my mind: both under isidor but NOT the heir. obviously applies more to rubin as hes the same age as artemy but lieke.. yeah. also, sticky also has that My Only Interest Is Medicine/ very studious in a way that artemy is not implied to have been to the same extent [as rubin at least, or not at first at home] . okay this ask started off with me wanting to ask about murky and dankovsky and i got distracted.. anyway: thoughts on murky and daniil? do u like the common hc that they bond over beetles? does he see his younger self in her standoffish autistic swag. would she paint him in the family portrait. etc. sorry for the essay in yr askbox
sticky considers dankovsky a Medical Role Model in the way he only half does burakh, not as a values thing but as a percentage thing. burakh's practice hinges in both his Capital knowledge and the steppe ways of his father and his communities whereas dankovsky is pure unfiltered Capital (and westbound) knowledge. dankovsky brings last year's Medical Knowledge Treatise (not the current year's, people need those) to sticky who's obsessed with the slightly gross anatomical lithographs in it (i know this because i've written it).
i think he doesn't like. think much. of rubin. beyond "under/after a burakh but not the heir", they have very little in common. rubin has a whole airport worth of baggage wrt heritage and heirness, it's particularly more visible in P2 since he and burakh have actually very few interactions in P1; whereas in p1 he was put forward to be formally adopted as a foster son, that is not a thing in p2, it's actually way funnier (as in painful and cruel), instead he says of isidor [to artemy] "your father", "your father", until he stops and says "father", "father", putting himself as a burakh heir. it's less about being on a same plane as artemy, a brother to him, it's about being him. when the game dev docs call him "artemy's doppeldanger", that's very much this. Anyways i don't think Sticky cares much about him. they have little in common, sticky doesn't have a tenth of the Heritage bagage Rubin has, and while rubin shoulders burakh in his practice and sticky can be #inspired, he neither has the novelty of dankovsky's Capital Endeavors nor the utmost respect sticky owes burakh for literally saving his life. he's also over 2m tall (6'9"), generally grumpy, and vaguely scary. and still sneers and barks at burakh even years after The Event because he still has the heritage en travers de la gorge + grieving and coping. bad.
as far as murky goes i don't think she cares much about dankovsky at first either. she can get sick in p1 bachelor route, but for the endeavor of us making a story with a certain linearity and mashing all of the routes into one, she does not, and only gets sick from the obligatory p2 All Children Sick event. same as sticky wrt rubin, she doesn't owe dankovsky her life (does not realize it. in the event of a linear story, dankovsky did very much help this guy greatly. tons, in fact. but it is not dankovsky who visited her when ill and promise to save her from the illness. these two, too, i don't think have much in common to start off. she is not stand-offish in the way that he is, i don't personally hc dankovsky as autistic so that would not be in my instance something that they find a mirror between each other over, his grief as an adult man over failure (or feeling of it) is completely unlike her own childhood grief of losing both parents and having the man who (she considers) is their murderer walk around the community, be relied upon and loved. grief rewires a person (real #grievingheads rise up) but it did not rewire them the same and they do not exteriorize it the same at all. she does come around to him, from 1) having seen him around already and he's not that bad 2) that's Old Man's Man and if old man Good and Loving then by extension... etc. she Does draw a family portrait i know it for a fact. she does it and never mentions anything of it. that's just her silent way of saying "you cool so we cool👍" i do fw the beetle bonding heavy though i do. i don't think dankovsky brings his collection to ToG (incl. because some of it is at his dad's) but during a visit to the town his Old Ways catch up to him and he gets enthusiastic bout some beetle crawling around and catches it. starts telling everyone about it. murky fw his collecting ways (she collects plant specimens [including hers] and rocks) so she trails him around and starts asking him about other bugs that are Not Beetles because she thinks it makes sense they be grouped together and he has to be like i'm so sorry i have no idea what this thing is. (eventually he gets himself an entomology book and they start bugwatching together. love prevails etc)
What are your thoughts on dankovsky and burakh's individual relationships with their fathers? can they relate to each other a bit in that way?
gonna be real i think i could invent whole cloth a russian homosexual only child male from late imperial/early to mid-soviet era whose father has expectations of him [regardless of what these expectations entail] and he and these two could bond over this. the concept of Parent Has Expectation Of You (especially father has of son & mother has of daughter) is pretty universal as far as like Human Experience goes.
I think both Burakh and Dankovsky have this Classic flavor of relationship with their fathers which is There Is Love, but dad is not very expansive about it, not very vocal about it (until it is too late, cf. Burakh), and love mostly shows itself as expectations. papakovsky had a certain distance created between he and his son because he caught on early enough that son was gay and [i've talked about this numerous times to tldr] distance installed itself as dad saw the son's homosexuality as a reflection on him, but he evently Stopped Being That Way around dankovsky's adulthood. burakh didn't have this with isidor because Didn't Know He Was Gay until it clicked like day 9. so the distance was not about this. but his whole narrative is about dealing with inheritance and with distance and To Me a coming-of-age narrative at like 26. cf. ATA if i stay real.
so while they Do bond over the Father's Distance and the Father's Expectations i think they could bond over this with any other slavic male (balkans included) over this. you know. and the Expectations Weighed Heavier on Burakh than Dankovsky since his entire route is about dealing with these expectations -- and finding himself following them, after 10 days of absolute suffering testing how bad he wants it and how ready he is to do it. he and dankovsky got other stuff to bond about. mostly that time they (almost) got kids in their care killed i think that's strong enough of an event to bond over.
Hi Ersher anon from a bit ago I’ve come with another question, do you have any thoughts on artemy’s mother? What she was like etc.
oh my god you do well to come back i had forgor💀 to reply again. you get a two for one deal.
as far as artemy's mother: she's [here]. i need to redraw her one day but she's one of the three p2 mothers i've drawn (her, stamatina, and dankovskaya). clay type of woman. even if she was a capital/western transplant to the town (as most of the non-Kin people used to be before they started popping out kids. orphans mostly. who didn't start off as orphan due to the Being born thing) i think she really quickly adopted the whole mother earth customs even without fully believe in them because Makes More Sense than sky father being father of everything and woman being born of man's rib, due to the She Can See Kids Are Born From Her. her clay (pottery) work kinda existed in this continuun of Creating Stuff, so was gardening. i think she did a lot of the plates & bowls & cups & whatnot that can still be found in the burakh's lair, all these little cups for mixing tinctures... i think she might even have made a first alambic prototype with a clay body, something like this.
i think she was weakened quite a bit by ersher's birth, and the second birth killed her.
i will not lie to you i don't think much about ersher because i love this ambiguity of it. i love that we know nothing about him except his bonds (burakh's brother, likely burakh's parents' son due to the Family thing), we don't know what he died of, at what age, and if artemy ever knew him. "My older brother. He died young." (artemy's quote) does not even tell us if he even knew ersher. it is implied they must've have at the very least cohabitated for a while, but maybe artemy just knows him from being told about him, but holds him dear enough that he calls him "older brother".
considering kids around 15yo are ruling the town, forming gangs and discussion politically-motivated loveless alliance marriages, i take "young" to mean "under 14", even younger than that. to me, ersher died around 10. i like the number 10, because it is the one who keeps coming back in p1 (10 years since the last outbreak). equally for that numerology grind, i think he and artemy have 5 years difference, for 5 is the number that comes back in p2 (last outbreak). so ersher died at 10 when artemy was 5. i'm not sure what i want him to have died of (.......... very strange formulation but you know what i mean). on one hand, i could see the steppe swallowing him. just straight up doing that. the steppe refuses to eat the elder burakh (cannot be buried, beginning of P2) because he has unfinished business at the surface, swallows the eldest son, refuses to eat the youngest because he must stay on the surface, he is the tether at the surface. i need to check the geology of that part of the eurasian steppe but this ^ would be inspired by something that happens in a land i love, where basically it's a mountain of sometimes-hollow limestone, covered with soft ground, and sometimes a hiker can fall through that soft ground into a big hollow, and never be found, or be found at hunting season when the hunting dogs sniff out the corpse. scary stuff. my other thought is he died... of something "stupid". something that now is very preventable, even easy to help with, but wasn't for a long, long while. cold. flu. some kind of vitamin deficiency. poisoning. tetanus (not "stupid", very dramatic and scary, the vaccine is from 1939). actually i might go with the tetanus thing: it's a really nasty, scary disease (like the pest), but not transmissible. it can happen from getting a wound infected. i think he was handling his father's tool, maybe to learn to butcher; got a cut; got infected; died.
i think artemy was not shielded from seeing this, even if his mother really insisted he be. i think he doesn't remember much, if anything of it; seeing illness does not trigger memory of his brother, but he has this. apple seed of grief inside of him. lodged somewhere all bitter and dark. i think it made him be a little morose as a person, which he still is, but it has been so long it has become his "baseline". i think artemy has very, very little memories of his brother; basically his brain is blank from 5yo and back, most of his core memories come from 7 & up, where he truly bonded with the friends he still has (still tries to keep). i think ersher's death devastated his mom, who was already weakened from the birth, and grief + weakness during the second birth killed her. now i could get into how isidor has made plenty of selfish choices which are are not yes no if you see it that was if you don't see it that way Selfish and he tries to justify and he doesn't and he knows and he doesn't... and what it could have meant for him to try to have a second kid when his wife was like that... because she's not the virgin mary that thang did not pop up like that... there is stuff to say there isn't. she wanted artemy too she did. she just didn't make it to see him.
ersher in my mind didn't get to like. be much of a person due to the Dead At 10 thing, but he was more jolly that artemy has ever been (also i think bc the second son was raised in more morose of an atmosphere, with a dad having already lost a son & his wife). he was a brunette ☝ in my mind mom's blonde & isidor was brown-haired (even if Bald), artemy got mom's blonde & ersher had dad's brown. i think he had his hair longer, And i think stakh, who knew him just a bit longer because barely older than artemy, because he has his whole. gestures. cain and abel if they (tried to) slayed (each other)/wants to be isidor's son sooo bad started growing out his brown hair for that. his problems and issues notice how i keep making it about him. stakh always at the scene of the crime.
basically yeah 👍 thank you for enjoy his mom i miss her so bad
thoughts on burakhovsky as old/er men? like, the two of them 20-30 years post-canon.......... gay elders era..........
if you knew if you knew if you knewwwww i think about it saur myuch... i always go back and forth about what i want Their Living Arrangements to be but in their big age i think dankovsky either lives full-time or is around most of the time at burakh's house [now his too] because the bed is big and high and comfortable [and burakh's always been vaguely aware there are chances he might have been conceived in it but that made them laugh at 30 and it will make them heartily chuckle at 55] and they can both get inside it with their creaky bones. i think they still often see The Horrors flashing before their eyes i think it never goes away but even in their older age they find how to comfort each other. the blanky.
they're normal about each other's hands [see: "gentle hands of a surgeon", see: whatever the fuck that paragraph was about the hands in fic of mine] and as they age and the skin becomes thinner and the veins more apparent they're both oh so reverent about all the specks and the nicks and the small chemical burns and the decades-old scratches and cuts. kind kisses on the age spots that have appeared on the back of the hands, on the arms.
they've been navigating pain and trauma for decades together they found then and they still find now how to care for the other, and the weird way old phantom stitches itch at night... still... and again...
dankovsky has always indulged in fancy robes but as he ages he doubles down... more silk for the man... burakh pretends he does not understand his fancies but by god he will pet that soft fabric as he would skin. i think they've laid off cigarettes and booze; burakh still indulges in a twyre pipe from time to time, but dankovsky has doubled down on being a Tea Enjoyer, and thoroughly puled burakh in...
they creak and crack in all places but they will wash each other's hair still. as long as there is a little chair to sit.
