Burda Retro Wrop Top 134
Few weeks ago I have finished Burda Retro Wrap Top project but did not have time to take few pictures. I did not wear it yet – I still have to find out the best way to tie the bow. Generally speaking it is easy to make blouse. You have just 3 pattern pieces with a kilometers of edge finishing.

Fused Glass Buttons for the Burda Retro Pattern
In the end the Burda Retro Wrap Top is done. The last things I have needed were buttons.
I looked through my stash but could not find anything suitable. Then I decided to make the buttons from the glass.

Burda Retro Top in making
Eventually I could pick up this Burda Retro Wrap Top project. I have to admit that having my new/old sewing machineis helping a lot. News from the RPT couture atelier
I pick up my sewing machine from the reparation last week however according to Cobie from Rouwendal (sewing machine center) I should not expect a lot. It is sewing but - as I was assured – it is not me but machine – which is just not for me, my needs.

Strange days
Strange days - little sewing, many meetings
My sewing machine is in a good hands – I hope. I hope it will be fixed soon so I can follow-up on new sewing projects – which piled up. It is strange to see this empty space.
For a short period I was thinking of buying the new machine -Bernina 580 – but after checking my budget unfortunately it has to wait. I have to earn/save somehow money.

DYI Project #2
DYI Project #2 - Do no praise the day before sunset....
The inner pocket is installed! I am glad with the final result. My DH is running a lot of projects in Africa and I managed to have Africa at the top.
I liked working on something different than garments so having still my sewing machine set up with heavy duty threads I decided to make a cover for a portable printer for him as well.

The moment I have seen this Burda Retro Wrap Top I wanted to make it. It has so interesting front finishing! Don’t you love it?
I only have to find proper fabric -Façonné - with two “good“ sides and body to drape. First I will check my fabric stash.
