A mini comic of my character Ceres in the aftermath of Endwalker.
It’s not that she loathes her responsibilities as a hero but rather is mourning the loss of something she realized she loved. Because no one will quite be her mirror as Zenos became.

For the writing meme: Zeno
The problem with his verbal quirk is hat it sounds just weird in English or any Western language. I’ve seen different ways to approach it (full third person, substituting all I’s by Zeno’s, etc.) but I feel it’s always off. My own method is using a healthy mix of first person and third person from sentence to sentence, usually thinking of the entire exchange in first and then replace some lines with third. Is it perfect? Hell no. I’m sure plenty of folks would find my the oddest. But that’s my way and I’m sticking to it.
There’s this thing I don’t know if it has a name where he phrases things in a way that’s a true fact, but not saying the entire thing and knowingly leading others to think of a different interpretation. It’s a cryptic sort of deception that lacks explicit lies, where he uses the truth to his advantage. Example: “Zeno left his village a long time ago”. These are fun to write!
He won’t explain anything unless he’s prompted or asked. And even when he is giving an explanation, he’s not going to reveal everything relevant. He’s terrible at communication. Or too lazy. Or both!
Lately canon was in a serious arc and hasn’t been giving us a lot of the cute side of Zeno (hello gore), especially since everyone knows what’s up with him now. I think I just enjoy writing/roleplaying his cheery side because I always make sure to compensate the angst levels with some goofiness or hugs or cute shit. Kusanagi might’ve forgotten that’s his coping mechanism, but I sure don’t
My Hiryuu-era Zeno was more anxious/serious/mature/pacifist than Zenos of other eras, but I still make sure to always remember that a) kindness was his original drive and b) it’s super fun to hint of his little shit, chaotic good, trickster potential!
@buri-art I am so excited to hold it in my hands and peruse the pages, I know the contents so well already my lack of Japanese knowledge will not be a hindrance at allllll @taotrooper basically my exact motive right there *high5s*
"A Clash of the Corrupted." my piece i did for darkin zine on twt featuring my two favorite champs
All the Yonhi headcanons, especially from when Soowon is a little kid, go!
(ok, trying to separate canon!verse Yonhi headcanons from the various AUs I’ve written her in)
appearance: she’s tall and blonde and Suwon gets his looks from her
she’s physically weak, not a physical fighter, but she is (or could be) a master tactician
at the time, she never knew the full extent of Yuhon’s cruelty in war. She learned more after his death, but...it would have been easier to accept if she’d found out while he was alive. After his death, mixed up with her process of mourning, truly believing he was so cruel, that none of it was justified, would be too much like a betrayal. It’s through her that Suwon gets his rose-tinted view of his father
rather than bringing her jewelry as gifts Yuhon would bring her books
she read all of them to Suwon even when he was too young to understand them
she loves playing strategy games and has several ongoing matches she plays by correspondence, some with prominent military leaders in other countries. They don’t know she’s the mother of the king of Kouka. She occasionally picks up useful insights from those matches, which she passes on to Suwon.
she had many failed pregnancies; Suwon was the only one who survived
she always assumed Yuhon would outlive her and was devastated by his loss and for a while didn’t really know how to go on and she was...not really there for Suwon during that time, certainly not as much as he needed (later, he understood, and it only emphasized how important Yuhon was in his mind)
(headcanon: Keishuk is Yuhon’s illegitimate son) Yonhi was happy to welcome Keishuk into her household when she learned of his existence; eager for any additional connection to the husband who left her so abruptly
she and Suwon both learned that Il killed Yuhon through their own separate investigations; neither told the other out of fear the knowledge would destroy them. When they each learned that the other knew the truth, that was when they truly began working together as allies for Kouka’s future, but it’s a very different relationship than the close parent-child relationship they’d had when Suwon was young
buri-art reblogged your photoset and added:
I tried on this style briefly last summer, and while it didn’t restrict any movement or breath, I did find it a little uncomfortable. It’s mostly because the cords have a small surface area that drives into the flesh a bit more that a flatter sash would, but probably something you’d get used to in time. Not something I’d want to sleep in because rolling around on the knots would feel weird.
I see, that makes sense. Thanks for sharing!
I love your art too~!! X3 It's so cute! I'll get to your request soon, thanks for sending one! ^^ If I come up with prompts for you I'll let you know.

#4: Kyoga, Handae, Geuntae
Adopt: Handae. He’s adorable.
Be adopted by: Geun-tae. Mostly because the other two are too young to adopt me. Plus he wants a daughter anyway. XD
Marry: I guess that means I’m marrying Kyoga. Not a terrible fate. He’s attractive and we’d probably get along.
