22. One character teasing the other:

It was no secret that Katherine enjoyed to tease others; friends, customers —It was all in good fun for her. And given her particular profession, it was an easy task to complete. In the now empty club, only she and Sam remained, he still stacking up empty glasses behind the bar and she; approaching her friend with a smirk upon her lips. Leaning against the bar, corset and lace clad cleavage on full show over the counter top, the female spoke up. "Sammy?" Her tone was soft, innocent, as was the expression that graced her olive features. However, the rest of her appearance was the exact opposite; sultry and seductive whilst she remained dressed in the lingerie she wore on the job. As he finally turned towards her, the brunette sauntered around to the opposite behind of the bar, advancing on the male until there was barely any space between them. "I need to ask a favor." Katherine whispered her words, licking her lips and biting her bottom lip gently as she gazed up at the male through her thick lashes. The female lingered there for a few moments, twisting a stray curl around her finger before suddenly, she turned on the spot, holding up her chestnut locks. "Give a girl a hand, will you? I can’t quite reach back to undo my corset." Her expression was angelic as she glanced over her shoulder at him innocently, a wicked twinkle in her eye as she awaited his reaction.

    Dainty hands latched firmly onto the metal beneath her palms, Katherine spun in a series of quick circles around the pole, long legs stretched out behind her as she glided through the air. It was moments like this that made her job worthwhile; times in which she could tune out the rest of the room and focus on an act that was as graceful as it was seductive. With a little more clothing, the dance might even be considered an art form. But whilst clad in nothing but lingerie, a corset and heels, such notions were rather pointless. To the others in the room, she was nothing but a stripper; a source of entertainment and lust. The burlesque club was extravagant, almost magical and mostly, Katherine enjoyed the mystery of the place, not to mention the power she felt from having so many men at her mercy. But after yet another heated argument with her mother about her poor life choices, the night had been destined for disaster.

    But despite her inner turmoil, Katherine remained a professional; dipping, spinning, gliding --Performing her heart out until finally, the music came to an end, signalling the end of her final dance at the end of her shift for the evening. Breathing a sigh of relief, the female gathered her earnings, folding the cash into a large pile and stuffing it into her bra. False smile firmly in place, her expression told the world she was happy as she sauntered off stage with a false confidence, ever the actress as she hid behind her well constructed walls --People rarely ever saw the real Katherine Pierce, not even her disapproving family. 

    Spotting her manager in the crowd, Katherine quickly made a beeline for the bar, anxious to escape the man that struck fear in her unlike any other with his suggestive comments and intimidating threats. It was a relief when the females dark eyes suddenly fell upon a face that eased her, emerald irises pulling her towards the comfort of someone familiar. "Sam? Could you grab me the bourbon please? The bottle." The brunette asked as she slipped onto one of the leather bar stools.

"I hate it when you do private shows," Reid murmured, looking up from his deck of cards as he shuffled them. His jealousy almost made him miss the effort it took Morgan to smile at him as he shimmied out of his trousers. He sat up straighter on the bed, hands slowing. "Did something happen?"

"Nothing more than usual," Morgan sighed. "Drunk people getting handsy and a couple who thought they were paying for more than a private dance."

Reid pulled Morgan to him as soon as he was within reach, pushing him to sit on the bed and crawling up behind him. His fingers squeezed his shoulders, beginning to massage the tense muscles there.

"I know the money is good, and it's technically all above board," he said softly, "but you don't enjoy it like the rest of your dancing."

"I know. But it keeps my name up there in lights, keeps me headlining. This city is expensive; if we're ever gonna move out of the theatre and get our own place we need the money."

"I could go to the casinos, you don't have to do the extra dancing."

"You're banned," Morgan chuckled, pushing back into Reid's kneading fingers. "And I don't want you going to jail."

"I don't like you taking the risk..."

"I can look after myself."

"I-" he paused, leaning down to kiss Derek's shoulder. "I want you all to myself. I can't help being jealous, sometimes I can't quite believe you want me."

"Don't sell yourself short, baby," Morgan murmured, tipping his head back so Reid could find his mouth and kiss him. "I love you more than anything. I'm all yours, no matter how many people watch me dance."

Spencer smiled and wrapped his arms around his lover's chest, nuzzling his neck and revelling in being near him.
