That spotlight video Dallas Fuel did on Effect was really, really touching. He left Overwatch League for his mental health, but stayed in touch with his teammates, who were very sensitive and promised that if he decided to come back, they would make the team a safe and supportive place for him. In this open communication with them, he felt secure and loved enough to come out as bi. And they continue to care for him just the same as they always did.
Dallas Fuel is full of amazing and talented people with hearts of gold. I am beyond proud to Burn Blue.
EDIT: I can't even believe that I forgot to mention how amazing it is that Effect has committed himself this year, not to being the best player, but to being the best teammate. That's a lot of maturity and growth, right there, and I think the whole team will be stronger for it.
VALIANT HAS FLOWN TO CLOSE TO THE SUN!!! A BURNING BLUE SUN!!!! DALLAS FUEL IS KICKING THEIR ASS!!!!!
Robyn’s With Every Heartbeat is one of my favorite tracks off her acclaimed album Honey. And I’m glad I had the pleasure of experiencing it live when I caught Robyn on tour in San Francisco recently. But never did I expect to encounter the sort of transformation that Derry based singer songwriter Rosborough has given it on his new stripped back cover. With his scratchy, gravelly voice and a sparse guitar arrangement, he draws out the melancholia of the resilient anthem and moves our souls with his heartfelt delivery. Like any Robyn song, With Every Heartbeat is sad yet empowering. It embraces sorrow with gumption and strength. We find ourselves melting away to Rosborough’s gorgeous rendition, a track that accompanies the digital release of his single, Burn Blue, an epic and avocative song that launched the artist’s career in his native Ireland. Watch the video for Burn Blue below. Rosborough has just finished supporting Seafret on their European tour and will join Amy MacDonald on her UK/EU tour throughout March and April.
I #BurnBlue so hard, I burnt my fingers. The Dallas Fuel killed it, though, so it's all good. 💙
If you're only going to support a team because they win then please leave. Your negativity is not needed here.
Of course it's great when your team wins. That's what everyone wants. But don't call yourself a fan if you're going to turn around and bad mouth them for losing. That kind of negativity isn't going to help in anyway. Support the team for who they are. Not by how much they win
It hurts seeing this. They are really trying. Stop giving them an even harder time.
And thank you Jake and Muma for being supportive of Fuel. Even other teams are shocked by the hate Dallas is getting. I've said this before but 1 or 2 people doesn't make the identity of the team. If you don't like them then don't comment negative things on their accounts. Simple as that. You're no better than them if that's what you spend your time doing.
