Sketchbook watercolours of Norfolk painted on location in 2009 & 2010. Burnham Overy Mill Sunset Wells-Next-the-Sea Brancaster Burnham Overy Mill I would rise early, usually before sunrise to capture the first glimpse of morning light. I would often paint the scene twice, one in my sketchbook, the other on a watercolour block. As one wash of colour was drying, I could work on the other painting.
