SEVEN 24 RUNNERS: Swisscom 2001

A the early 2000s, Swisscom was positioning itself as Switzerland’s trusted gateway to the emerging broadband and mobile future. It was a provider that promised speed, reliability, and a human centered service in an era when “always‑on” connectivity was still a novelty. To visualize that promise, the company introduced the SEVEN 24 RUNNERS in 2001. A family of glossy, 3D‑rendered service characters in perpetual motion, each symbolizing a different facet of Swisscom’s round‑the‑clock commitment, seven days a week and twenty‑four hours a day. They were conceived and brought to life by Büro Destruct, the Bern‑based multidisciplinary design studio known for blending Swiss graphic precision with playful experimentation.

I found a really old hard drive, so The recent posts have all been blasts from the past. In the 2000s I was heavily influenced by #designersrepublic and #burodestruct Sometimes the logos were illegible and felt like some kind of futuristic graffiti made by graphic designers.
