How about Arataki Itto?

Itto is canonically the most gluttonous boi in all of Genshin. He literally got kicked out of a buffet for eating EVERYTHING in the buffet. So, with how gloriously shameless Itto is, when this studly young oni burps, it's gonna be the loudest, strongest BELCH you've ever heard. And Itto's response is gonna be to slap his bulging belly and smack his lips shamelessly as he caresses his overstuffed gut and groans about how tasty everything was. He's also a massive showoff and boaster, so of course, he knows how to burp on-command is all too eager to get into burping contests to boot.

After stuffing his face:

"WHEW! (slaps his big belly and burps again) Gruooohhh now THAT...huUrp...was a meal!"

(smacks his lips contently as he caresses his gut) "Hohoooo man, I'm STUFFED...dude, this place really IS all ya can eat, huh!"

"Yooooooo...did you guys FEEL that?! Haha! Think some plates actually rattled on that one!"

"Phew...that was a BIG one, huh! (gives his belly a few firm smacks) Nothin' but the best outta the One and Oni, am I right??"

"Hahhh...(lets his tongue hang from his maw as he strokes his belly) ...Think I just made room fer dessert, hehe..."

"Ahhhh, haha...that felt amaaaaaaaaazin'..."

"What? That's how I compliment the chefs! Hafta burp loud enough so they ALL hear, right? (patting his belly in a showy manner) Feedin' THIS oni is a team effort, after all."

"Ohhh ho hooo man, talk about a GUT rattler..."

"Oof, heh, bet they heard that outside the buffet...! (grins a fang filled grin) Least now they know the grub's legit."

In a burping contest or showing off:

"Whew! (smacks his gut in a satisfied manner) That one had some HEFT to it, huh!"

(smirks) "Oh, ya thought THAT was impressive? Nah-nah-nah-nah, ya ain't heard NOTHIN' yet...(takes a few big gulps of air, then pounds his chest once as a MONSTROUS belch explodes from his maw)"

"Ha! Let's see ya top THAT! Bet'cha can't, can ya?!"

"Ohhh yeah, ain't nooooobody bestin' the One and Oni burp champion of THIS gang!"

"Mph, still got some left... (kneads his stomach and lights up eagerly) Oh! Yo! Check this out! I been practicin'! (takes several big gulps of air, and starts beat-boxing with his burps)"

"Haaaahhh, almost made myself DIZZY with that one, haha!"

"Ahhh...(pats his stomach)...even on empty, those feel sooooo good just lettin' rip like that, ya know what I mean? Pfft, course ya don't. Ain't no WAY ya ever let out a monster like that one, no offense."

"Pfft, that was a five at best. Here, lemme do a better one...(takes a deep breath and grabs his gut as he belches ferociously)"

"Ahhhh, was that childish'n crude? No doubt. Is that old lady pissed off? I mean, she's brandishin' a knife and pointin' it at me, soooooo...no clue. Was just lettin' rip the greatest burp of all time satisfyin' as hell? Uh. Hell-eeeyyyaaah, baby."

Partner and I discussed a scenario where Y.u and M.inato have a silly burping contest as an opportunity to bond with each other. I’m biased, Minato instantly wins.

Recently been a bit ashamed of adding text to the burp bubbles 😭 But maybe for the next one I’ll be fine.

Headcanon #22

One time, Sonic downed six 12-ounce cans of Coke and happened to let out a huge burp just as Rouge happened to come by. At first, she scolded him for burping so loudly, but then she downed a few cans herself and let out a huge burp. Now, whenever they want to be silly, they'll drink a bunch of soda and have a burping contest.

Scenario: The Karasuno team has a burping contest after practice and of coarse Noya and some of the bigger boys (Asahi, Tsukki, Tanaka, etc.) are absolutely killing it with burps when out of nowhere Ennoshita just startles them all with a massive belch and wins.

oh my gosh this is perfect

so of course its all tanaka and noya’s idea. they’re the ones to buy the soda from ukai’s shop, to pass a can out to everyone on the team, and to declare that “we’re gonna have a burp-off!”

they’re are also the ones to dominate the competition. they pound on their chests, letting out bigger and better burps the more carbonation builds up in their stomachs.

asahi doesn’t want to participate, but gets goaded into it by noya. his burps are, of course, massive -- and he can’t stifle them, so they just wind up coming out, leaving him a flustered mess.

tsukki doesn’t even want to be here, and at first had no intention of getting involved. then kageyama said it was because he’s scared, so tsukki decides “fuck you, kageyama,” grabs a soda can, and lets out a rumbly burp right in his face.

all hinata and yamaguchi can conjure up are some softer burps and a few sharp hiccups, which everyone teases them for. kageyama is trying, but he dislikes the taste of soda so he can’t drink much. suga has pretty loud burps, but his throat starts hurting after a while. daichi doesn’t want to get involved because he’s supposed to be the mature person here.

ennoshita’s trying to be mature too, but he makes the mistake of sipping on the soda he was given. and since soda messes him up, it’s not long before his stomach is grumbling and he’s desperately trying to hold back belches.

finally he explodes, with one absolutely massive, “brrrAAAUURP” that startles the rest of the team into silence.

“well,” noya finally says, “i guess we know who wins.”

Since somebody asked about Roxas earlier, you know I have to jump on the Kingdom Hearts wagon, experienced be dashed. You can blame them. Or blame me, I don't care either way. 😜 Axel! Go!

Axel is the epitome of shamelessness. He's the sort who will stuff his face and eat more than anyone else around him when food's being served. And by the time he's done, Axel will always punctuate the end of his meal with a HUGE belch and a boorish sigh as he slaps his bulging belly and groans about how stuffed he is. He's also a complete showoff, so he always makes it a point to belch as loudly as he possibly can. Any time he hears Roxas belch, he'll always goad him into a burping contest by burping much louder than him and trying to get him to top that.

If he's just stuffed to the brim, this is what he'd say:

"WHEW! (slaps his bulging belly heartily as it jiggles beneath his palm) Now THAT...was a good one..."

"Hahhh...(slowly caresses his rounded middle with both hands)...ooOOOooohhh that felt soooooooo good..."

"Whew...oh man...(smacks his belly heartily a few times before burping again)...guh...kinda overdid it, didn't I..."

(smacks his chops contently) "Ahhh...hehe, tasty."

(holds up a finger) "Ohhh wait, wait! Got another one comin' up...! (maintains a focused look before taking a deep breath and lurching with a long, throaty belch that morphs into a groan at the end) Ahhhh, THERE we go..."

"Ohhhhh baby, now, that one felt satisfying..."

"Ooof, heh...(palms his belly and burps again)...guh, man...my gut's grumblin' somethin' fierce..."

If he just outburped Roxas, this would be his response:

"Ahhhh, and THAT'S how ya do it!"

"Whew! (pats his belly a few times) Wasn't even TRYIN' t'put ya t'shame that badly, but there ya go, hehe."

(smacks his chops) "Ahhh, now let's see ya try'n top THAT."

"That, Roxxy, is what a REAL burp sounds like. (grins and takes a few deep gulps of air) ...GOT IT MEM-OR-IIIIIIIIZED-UUUURRROOOOORRRRRP!!!! Haaahhhh...whew!"

"Eh, that was maybe a five. I'll give ya a real monster in a sec. Just wanted to give ya a fightin' chance, chump, hehe."

"Heh, gettin' kinda red, Roxxy. Is that cuz ya can't keep or cuz you're REALLY enjoyin' our lil contest?"
