Well, this is it; the Month of Rouge is officially over. Here's one of Sonic and Rouge hugging. Sorry for it being so late; I've been having a horrible day today.

Hey, hope everyone's doing well on this wonderful Wednesday. It's been a while since I drew any Sonouge art, so here they are making out. Besides, I wanted an excuse to draw Rouge wearing nothing but a bra and panties I was seeing too much Sonamy in my DeviantArt feed.

Sonic proposes, and sure he loves rouge a lot- but he doesn't see a need to marry, he's the kind of person that'll love rouge regardless of whether it's officially on paper.

I think he proposed anyway mainly because he knew rouge would be touched by it, and she'd love the benefits (a large gem on her finger, and a very big lavish wedding)

While I don't think they'd be in a rush to propose, if they felt strongly enough about it, Sonic and Rouge would definitely marry. Not only would Rouge enjoy the ring and the ceremony, but she'd also love some of the other perks of marriage, such as tax breaks and other benefits that married couples get. Plus, Sonic would feel better knowing that there was someone else besides Tails who would inherit the fortune that he got from - among other things - the royalties from his video game series.

I'd like to think that all their friends are flabbergasted by their relationship. When Sonic and Rouge first started dating, their friends rolled their eyes. They thought "oh, they're both players. This won't last long."

Then cut to years later, they're married and are the perfect couple. Amy’s shocked that they very rarely argue, Shadow’s surprised that they actually miss each other after missions...

Indeed, Sonic and Rouge's relationship was surprising to everyone at first. However, I think Amy is more pleasantly surprised to see them getting along, and while Shadow would miss Rouge at first, he would recognize that her relationship with Sonic means that she can't always be there for Shadow, but they'll try to hang out whenever they can.

They're actually more than bi: they're both the types who will date anyone regardless of gender identity. Interesting you should mention "swinger energy" too, because they both love the idea of bringing someone else in for a threesome.

Headcanon #149:

As much as they love winter, even Sonic and Rouge love it when spring finally comes. Sonic's favorite thing about spring is seeing all the plants bloom again, while Rouge's is getting to try on the various dresses she has in her collection.

Hadn't thought too much about that, but Sonic often refers to Rouge as "Mama", though he does that with a lot of women, too. As for Rouge, aside from calling Sonic "Big Blue", she also calls him "Sonny".

I could see that happening. As for whether or not they'd keep it, I guess it would depend on their state of mind at the time and whether they felt ready.

what are their favourite memories of each other?

For both of them, it would have to be the first time they actually went out on a date. After the Black Arms incident, they went to a pizza joint that Sonic said had the best chili dogs, and he paid for both of their meals. They also shared plenty of flirty remarks, and to top it off, Rouge gave Sonic his first kiss.

would rouge ever teach sonic how to swim? or are they both afraid of water

Actually, this is an interesting ask because I usually dispense with the whole "Sonic doesn't know how to swim" thing in my fics. The way I saw it, if Sonic could swim in AoStH and SatAM, and if hedgies can swim IRL, then why not give him the ability to swim elsewhere? That aside, presuming that Sonic doesn't know how to swim, Rouge would definitely teach him how to swim. I imagine she'd be a great instructor.

I’d assume that Sonic would tell her about it all, so how’s Rouge feeling about the events of Frontiers? Between the Cyber Corruption, Eggman's new daughter, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles all going off on their own adventures, it’s gotta be a lot to take in.

OK, I'll be honest, I haven't played through the entirety of Frontiers, but based on what I have played of it, I can safely say she'd simultaneously be 1. Amazed at how her Big Blue is still a bag of surprises, and 2. Proud of him for being able to face all of that and still beat the odds.

Headcanon #148

While not devoutly religious, Sonic thinks it's really cool that Rouge is a devout Wiccan, and he'll gladly agree to participate in some of her practices and rituals if she requests it.

I think when sonic and rouge first started dating they agreed to have an open relationship, because they both loved their freedom and they lowkey were scared about the commitment

After getting to know each other more and falling more for each other, i think that's when they decided to go exclusive (thought I think they still occasionally invite a third person over for a night)

Heh, not sure if Sonic and Rouge would've explicitly agreed to an open relationship, but I can definitely see it being a thing, though more as a little experiment rather than any commitment anxiety.

As for inviting a third person over, I can definitely imagine Rouge bringing in someone like Sally or Blaze.

Sorry, I don't know enough about Warhammer 40K to come to any conclusions, but I do know that Sonic and Rouge are really into cosplay.
