A 1948 De Havilland Canada DH-2 Beaver from the New Zealand Warbirds Association seen arriving at the Wanaka Airport for the 2026 Air Show
This aircraft is is painted in a distinctive orange scheme representing the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Antarctic flight, paying homage to its history in remote operations. It is believed to be the oldest flying Beaver in the world and was the first of its type ever exported from Canada.
Legitimately flying with a five bladed scimitar now.
