Here an old markers/coloring pencils illustration of one of my musical heroes Peter Tosh. He sang many songs of legalization, equal right and justice. Throughout his life he received harsh beatings, and ultimately was murdered by police, because he enjoyed elevating through herb smoking. I’m happy that weed is less and less of an excuse to criminalize rebels, but police brutality always finds new excuses. I watched the documentary “13th” on Netflix the other day which really explains the shituation of prolonged slavery for the black race, something that really has to change! Anyways, it was special for me to end up at the Mausoleum of Peter Tosh in Jamaica a year ago, meet his cousins and get asked spontaneously to draw a little something on it! An honour to add a bit of respect and vibration at his resting place. May no more men die in the hands of abusive police.
