I can‘t wait to learn more about Ahiru. She really looks like a mix of Franky and Robin. It's incredible. (Though the Anime gave her dark-blond or light-brown hair and brown eyes...)

✨9/28/2020, Week ? of my first semester in the nursing program✨

This week already intimidates me so so much. I have two proctored tests (1 today and 1 tomorrow), I have to be in person in class from 8-3 on Wednesday and I have a difficult lab day ahead of me on Thursday and a jam-packed weekend. I hate that I don’t really get time to myself anymore to wind down, but I can’t say that life is boring because there’s constantly something challenging me. I ran up to take my proctored exam this morning that I scheduled a month ago just for them to tell me I have to take it at home because there aren’t webcams available on their computers so I had to just go back home and take it, so you better believe I made the trip to campus worth it by visiting my favorite local coffee shop. They provided me with fantastic coffee and I got a great shot for my blog!

It feels so good to have wifi again. We got it set up at our new apartment but I’m staying at my folks house for a week cause... well, sad family emergency stuff I’m kind of still going through. So I’ll have wifi either way at least.

Good Things :)

Busy weeks - Last week was super busy, as I talked about in my last edition of Good Things. I had plans for four out of the five week nights. It was way more stressful than I’m used to but I loved it. I got in bed late every night (and by that I mean 10pm - ha!) and slept so amazingly!

VOTING - I voted this week y’all and it made my heart happy. Exercise your right to vote if you have it! It’s one of the most important things we do as citizens.

Funny stories from my family - There is nothing more “normal” than funny stories about what my nieces and nephews have done. They make my heart so happy.

Spending time with friends - I know I say this a lot but it’s true. They fill my cup.

Extra money in the budget - There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that I have some extra moolah to spend on discretionary items. I budget very seriously and put a lot in my savings account each month. So having some extra money to spend on clothes/skincare products is awesome!

Busy Weeks

So these last two weeks have been pretty busy. A couple of friends graduated high school so I attended their after-parties. I also attended a convention last weekend so I haven’t gotten any writing accomplished for a blog post today.
