Metlife released a survey that they conducted of 2,000 U.S. workers in September 2021. Unfortunately, 1 in 5 women said they had been pushed out of the labor force during the pandemic. McKinsey & Company and LeanIn.org collaborated on the Women in the Workplace report. They had 423 participating organizations and surveyed over 65,000 employees. They found that women did make some gains in senior leadership positions. However, the working woman "hangs in the balance." This morning was one of those mornings when I overslept - ugh! 😩 While I couldn't get my workout in that I was planning to do because I was short on time, I logged into beachbody on demand - the "Netflix" of fitness workouts and pushed play to to hammer & chisel which was only 30 min! I can't believe how my arms are feeling like jello now because I haven't used weights in what seems forever! So even though I overslept I still got my workout in and I'm so glad because it sets the tone for the day for me both mentally and physically!
