I just,, want to see queer rep in history, I want to see our stories written out; I want to write about women who fell in love with women in the 18th century, I want to write about women who fall in love with both men and women, I want to see stories about men who loved men in the 1600’s, I want to hear the stories about trans people in the 19th century (and them being respected) *cough* dr James Barry *cough*, I want to hear our history and see our stories presented accurately and respectfully and truthfully except I can’t because a lot of it has been erased and so I want to be able to create fiction where it’s safe and beautiful and full of love and I,, just .. I want to be able to see me and my community throughout history, or in a historical setting. We are not new. We’ve always been here. And I just want to hear those stories.... I’m sad
