the reason i struggle so much with speaking french is because my audio comprehension/retention is like 0%. i can’t repeat what’s said to me because i can’t remember the beginning of the sentence by the time you get to the end.

i also don’t have a regular french-speaking partner, and i’m ashamed of my complete inability to pronounce the french r
