Summary: Several nights before the war, Zac was stationed as a guard to keep watch over a carnival, on the lookout for assassins.
He didn't know what to expect that night.
But betrayal was certainly not it.

New PMATGA oneshot is here!! 🙌
This is an example of how to use the prompt game I made (more details below). This was supposed to be a drabble, but it turned into a whole friggin oneshot instead. Yay?
I hope ya'll enjoy it nonetheless!
____________

Antagonist/2nd Character: an assassin
Setting: Somewhere in the past, several nights before the war
These details were determined after using this prompt game I made to create ideas.
You stood in the farthest corner of the room, trying not lose your cool. This girl.... she....really pissed you off.
You were used to Sanji fawning over girls. That’s the way he was and to be honest, you were into girls too. You understood on some level. They were cute and lovely and pretty. You understood.
You never batted an eye when he fawned over Robin, Nami, Vivi or Carrot.
You understood. You knew he loved you.
So why....
Why did this girl....Pudding....Your boyfriend’s supposedly betrothed....this girl speaking things that you thought yourself about your boyfriend....how handsome he was....how smart and gentlemanly and sweet he was....
Why did it piss you off so goddamn much?
She talked like she knew him.
Like she knew what his smiles meant or the gentleness of his touch....what it meant to you.
The more you stewed on it, the more you were in her presence....it made you more irate.
“I want to marry you but I want to go back to my friends more.”
Such.....bullshit. He would never. Never.
You burned.
Was this jealousy?
If it was or wasn’t, you didn’t trust this girl as far as you could throw her....And you could probably throw her pretty far.
You just felt it in your deepest of guts not to trust a single thing that came out of her mouth.....unfortunately, you didn’t have much of choice.
Luffy and Carrot continued their prattling on with the girl while Nami and the others noticed your mood and slowly began with the planning on getting Sanji back. You refused to look over and only nodded or gave stiff small replies to any questions.
Her voice made your ears ring. Her smile made you want to send her flying.
It was decided. You would go with Nami, Luffy, Chopper and Carrot while Brook and Pedro took another route.
To quote the navigator, “I can’t handle all the ‘kids’ on my own!” before giving you a wink.
That got you to crack a small smile.
This girl may rub you the wrong way, but you could always count on your crew to bring up your spirits, even in times like these.
So I'm just gonna go on posting this. Dunno if I'll ever finish it, but it's fun to write, other than my first few stories, that were all pretty fucking emo.
Anyway, if you haven't figured it out yet and don't read tags, this is an AU in that Kanda and Allen are orphans in the same orphanage and do the whole 'survive' thing together. This is gonna be massively fluffy and full of first world problems, so if you're looking for angsty stuff go look somewhere else. Period.
Anyway, if you find any mistakes or have feedback on my writing style and shit go nuts in my inbox.

Said incident was that one Kanda Yuu, 6 at the time, had once again decided to show his charming personality, resulting in an incredibly pissed off teacher and the class rep having to watch over the class while said teacher accompanied the annoyed boy to the headmaster.
When Mrs. Rightley spotted the white-haired child mid-rant, she immediately assumed he had somehow escaped his caretaker to get up to something. She never ate with the students, so she hadn‘t seen his introduction and in her fury she quickly overlooked his unique features in favour of another victim to let her bad mood out on.
„Look who we have here, another little devil who thinks he doesn‘t need to listen to his elders...“, she snarled as she approached the young boy, who calmly turned to her and smiled.
„Always smile at people, Allen, especially Ladies“, was one of the few lessons Allen had been taught from his late father and he had taken it to heart. He wasn‘t the kind of child to cry easily anyway and people seemed to be more likely to ignore his weird scar and the white hair if he looked nicely inoffensive.
Sadly, in this particular case, said course of action was unfitting, seeing as it made Mrs. Rightley fume even more, thinking he was making fun of her.
So, before he could do more than open his mouth to phrase a question about where he was supposed to be, she had started yelling at him for not being there, groped for his hand and started pulling him with her to the headmasters office together with the other boy, who had watched the scene with a mix of amusement sympathy. He couldn‘t help Allen, who he remembered quite clearly, but he knew the boy most likely wasn‘t at fault.
As a very confused Allen had gotten over the shock of being yelled at suddenly, he looked over to the only other person present other than the angry teacher and himself, hoping for some explanation. The older boy was busy staring at others left hand, though, that was being held upward by Mrs. Rightley, making the sleeve slide to his elbow and exposing the bright red skin underneath that was usually hidden by a glove and long sleeves. As the younger boy noticed the look he blushed a little and tried to hold up the sleeve with his other hand. Soon he had to give up that plan, seeing as it went quite unsuccessful and resigned himself to just glaring at Yuu instead.
Said boy shook himself from his stupor quickly when he noticed the others discomfort and reciprocated the glare with a deadpan, reaching up to slide his old loose shirt over his left shoulder that sported a similar scar tissue as the one that decorated Allens left arm. Now it was the younger boys turn to stare, making the deadpan deepen.
While the black haired child put his shirt back in place he looked around. They were almost at the headmaster‘s office, he could already see the thick grey door. A sigh escaped him at the thought of listening to the manners lecture again. He knew almost every variation of it by now and it still didn‘t really leave any impact on him, most likely because he was intending to be rude in most of the cases he had heard it.
Noticing where his partner in punishment was looking, Allen stared at the door too, giving the other boy questioning side glances every once in a while and taking his smile back up.
When Yuu noticed the others glances he just gave him a slightly apologetic grin. ‚Poor guy‘, he thought, ‚first day and already to the old cockroach‘s office.‘
There wasn‘t much time for interaction anymore and already they were standing in front of the door.
