I just saw Iron Lung in theaters and damn they really pull a hadestown on you. Like you know how the story ends, but you still watch it hoping MAYBE it will turn out differently.

the older I get the more convinced I become that pride merchandise is bought exclusively by freshly out middle schoolers and their fervently but anxiously supportive parents, and meant to torture every other gay person. Because what do you mean I’m supposed to want to wear the chunkiest rainbowiest most saturated clothes with slogans that make me sound like I’m a little known endangered species of spider. Like I don’t have taste. Like I don’t have a paycheck. The ugliest rainbow loom colors on the most synthetic fabric with bad screen printing and a distinctly neolib font. Like hell. Bass pro shop gets more sales from adult queers that pride collections do.
guys I’m. doing okay. like I keep catching myself smiling and I’m like. oh my god? I’ve laughed and I’ve smiled and I’ve drank bloody mary’s and I’ve been gentle with myself and I’ve indulged in anything and everything that might bring me some joy and I just. I feel okay.
VAMPIRE SMP - REN / RENHARDT DOGMOURNE ART
Do let those vampyres get’cha, doncha kno’?
I’ve been seeing a lot more fellow transmascs complaining about feeling left out and even not treated like a “real” man by transfems.
And obviously I can’t speak for all transmascs and their experiences, and definitely not for transfems. Your personal experience is yours alone.
But I will say, being transmasc I was always welcomed and accepted by transfems and transmascs. And I certainly can’t say the same for my transfem friends. In fact, even I was misgendered more by transmascs than transfems.
I think a lot of this “exclusion” happening to transmascs by transfems is just online discourse that doesn’t carry over irl nearly at all. Fellow transmascs. Go outside and make irl queer friends, 9 times out of 10, transfems are some of the most accepting and affirming people you’ll run into. And that’s coming from someone that lives in the south in America. Accepting and affirming is hard to find over here.
Sora's New Keyblade's Design Elements
I'm personally of the opinion that Sora's new Keyblade that was shown off in the trailer could be a new original Keyblade, akin to the Star Seeker. My main reasoning is its particle effects.
I've seen many people talk about the fire flowers but not many talk about the water shurikens!
This character, who I'll refer to as Vali for now, is shown to be wielding a weapon with shuriken shaped teeth and keychain. And we know Vali is designed to look and very much attack like a ninja in Dark Road, so this makes perfect sense.
I believe this Keyblade could be a new original Keyblade Sora obtains upon meeting Vali and an unknown character. This Keyblade seems to have a lot of terrain altering properties, so it'd make sense if Sora starts using it as soon as the player is introduced to the Scrap and Build mechanic via Vali and the other unknown character.
Though the fire particles do somewhat remind me of Remus' Keyblade's particle effects from the Missing Link beta, even though it's not completely identical. Maybe we'll meet a character that we would have met in Missing Link? This Keyblade would have been equippable (and upgradable) by the player, so maybe it would have been wielded by another character as well.
we'll be back to our regularly scheduled program soon folks 🫶🏾
