What an amazing set of coincidences
Kingdom Hearts Dark Road
Sora's hair is flatter in KH4 not just because of Quadratum's art style but because the spikes are Ventus's not his. as a baby before welcoming Ventus into his heart the top of his hair was flat like it is now. now that Ventus is no longer in his heart his hair goes back to its original style.
this isn't just nonsense I made up because Nomura once made a comment about Sora's hair color being lighter in KH2 because of Roxas which means my theory is totally canon. hearts do influence the way you look.

Sora's New Keyblade's Design Elements
I'm personally of the opinion that Sora's new Keyblade that was shown off in the trailer could be a new original Keyblade, akin to the Star Seeker. My main reasoning is its particle effects.
I've seen many people talk about the fire flowers but not many talk about the water shurikens!
This character, who I'll refer to as Vali for now, is shown to be wielding a weapon with shuriken shaped teeth and keychain. And we know Vali is designed to look and very much attack like a ninja in Dark Road, so this makes perfect sense.
I believe this Keyblade could be a new original Keyblade Sora obtains upon meeting Vali and an unknown character. This Keyblade seems to have a lot of terrain altering properties, so it'd make sense if Sora starts using it as soon as the player is introduced to the Scrap and Build mechanic via Vali and the other unknown character.
Though the fire particles do somewhat remind me of Remus' Keyblade's particle effects from the Missing Link beta, even though it's not completely identical. Maybe we'll meet a character that we would have met in Missing Link? This Keyblade would have been equippable (and upgradable) by the player, so maybe it would have been wielded by another character as well.
the scrungl.
I’m honestly surprised the black coat isn’t limited to the Master of Masters (and maybe Luxu/Xigbar) in KH4. The girl in the black coat at the start of the trailer, and the Hugin/Munin looking ass black coat in the trailer completely blindsided me. Despite being the new main antagonist, he’s hardly visually distinct. I suspect there is a reason for this choice. Maybe MoM’s identity reveal will happen via a character revealing they were the MoM the whole time, not that the MoM reveals who he is, if this makes sense.
happy pride month to them
