Butchertale is an AU where the monsters of the underground attacked the royal family in retaliation. Through their anger, they made Toriel to do a cruel and sickly thing. Asriel wasn't there to witness it, as he was safe in hiding. I may give more Info another time.

My original AU, Butchertale:

This is an AU based on Horrortale.

In this AU, everything is the same, but monsters have physical bodies like humans. Meaning they have corpses, guts, blood, etc. AND Frisk is a sadist and Satanist :D

Frisk is 16 years old and spends their life alone, in a cabin in the woods on Mount Ebott. Long, tragic backstory story short, they kill and eat people. One, day, they’re caught by the police, so they run away, up the mountain. In doing so, they trip and fall into the Underground. At this point, Frisk is already level 3 (from killing and eating humans). Flowey notices this stat right away, and offers to partner with them, but Toriel interrupts this. And remember when I mentioned Frisk was a Satan worshiper? Well, if you fall into a deep cave and one of the first things to great you is a giant, anthropomorphic goat monster, what are YOU gonna think?

Anyway Frisk thinks Toriel is their dark lord, and when she leaves them unsupervised, they proceed to capture, kill, consume, and/or torture every monster in the Ruins. This includes making a shrine/mural out the “leftovers” to try to appease her. Toriel sees this, freaks the fuck out, and runs and hides. Frisk thinks, “Well, I know the Devil loves this shit, so Toriel must be a fraud!” and proceeds to bake her into a pie. (They also collect each boss’s teeth along the journey and puts them on a necklace). Flowey sees ALL this shit and is like, “Okay, I’m evil, but that shit is FUCKED UP.” and proceeds to go to Snowdin and warn every one of the batshit crazy human.

Extra details:

-Meanwhile, Frisk hears about Asgore and thinks, “Ok, THAT guy must be my dark lord,” so they spent their journey thinking Asgore is Satan.

-Chara thinks this wayyyy too fucked up and refuses to narrate Frisk.

-Frisk doesn’t like bones normally, but gains enough strength to eat Sans after they fight him at the very end.

-Everyone is MORE scared of Frisk than in a regular geno rout.

-Frisk eats Flowey at the end for a “balanced diet”

-Flowey helps the monsters throughout

-Chara doesn’t even bother talking to them at the end, they just straight up close their game.

-By the time Frisk gets to the end, they’re not LV 20, but LV 23 (because of the previously mentioned human levels). Do with that what you will.

Everything else is up for interpretation. Have fun with this existing now! =)

Weird concept I know but hear me out-

This seems so out of character for Toriel but that's why I made it. I wanted to create an AU that focuses on something other than a skeleton so I created this. Hopefully I’ll find the time to explain this AU more!
