A lil month by month of 2019 . Plus swipe ➡️ to see my #10yearchallenge . Just a reminder of how much difference a year of change can make and even more so how much 10 years of consistent change can .. . Not to get all sappy #butiwill I am such a different person than I was back then I feel better and healthier .. I am more aware of my programming ... I take more calculated risks .. I work on dealing w my social anxiety rather than just drinking and forgetting it ... I take a moment before I respond or take things personally and the list goes on ... I hope that 10 years from now I can say the same thing about my today’s self . And that doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong w my today self - it just means that I am evolving . I am forever doing my best to become a better version of me and honestly it feels damn good to say it {insert hair flip 💁🏼‍♀️}. . I have many things that I have spent this year trying to work on - some have improved - some still need a little more focus and improvement . My word for this year was beauty and while you can’t necessarily tell from the short snippets of videos I feel that I did a dang good job of finding it and embodying it . I started the year w a cute little flower photo shoot for my one and only ani buns’ 1st birthday . I busted out of my bubble and gained enough confidence to actually film at a gym #imascardycat . Went to lots of hockey games #hockeywife life . Went to Prague . Went to Ras Al Khaimah . Tried to look put together enough that I was confident to authentically video whenever rather than having to have it be a production cause I looked like a disaster in a handbag . Had a beautiful wedding celebration - got to re-marry my fave little person plus got to party w my fave peoples . Tried to look presentable some more..{clearly this was an ish before - it was def a confidence thing} . Finally balanced my hormones enough that I felt comfortable in something other than baggy clothing . Started re-incorporating yoga into my days-I had kind of let it fall by the wayside for a bit . Went to Egypt . Worked a lot on my skin health . There you have it -some of my biggest highlights of 2019 What are yours?
