I haven’t posted something that I created in a while. My spread from back in November when I was starting out in forming habits using my habit tracker. I’m still getting the hang of what I want my bujo to look like. It’s taking a while and I know that’s okay. My taste changes anyways.

I’ll do my best to post more often. I’ve gotten busy at work and now I’m trying to apply for masters programs. I’m trying to boost my resume before applying for medical schools.

My second stationary store this week is Typo. They're a side brand of the retail store cotton on. Again, I was on a budget so I didn't buy anything. The budget=no buying. 😔 I wish I lived closer to a muji or other stationary stores that I've seen studyblrs post about - it's so beautiful to see what's out there! Anyone else still playing Pokemon go? Am I alone?

Used the long weekend to weave my way into the closest thing I have to a stationary store, anthropologie. It was very hard but I'm on a budget and I didn't buy anything. 👏🏼 I also had an idea for a new printable. Coming soon!

Wow! It has been a busy busy busy month for me. So sorry I haven’t posted an original in a while. I’m so touched to see that people have started following me even though I haven’t posted anything for several weeks. So I thank you new and current followers for seeing something worth following on my studyblr ‘ n_n

Short Story as to why I’ve been Missing In Action: Sorry…life happens but I still love ya’ll. 

Long (Bulleted) Story as to why I’ve been Missing In Action:

Moved out/Moved into a new place.

Sore for a few days due to moving.

No Internet fro the past 12 days because of haywire (hehehe puns). Literally, two cable internet installers could not get it to work.

Going to Starbucks/or any free wi-fi establishment to design a website.

Found a therapist and attended some really helpful initial appointments.

Looking for a research job.

Preparing for a job interview on Monday.

After all of that--! Visiting Canada next week! 🇨🇦

26-27/100 Days of Productivity 

Last week was super busy for me: first ever appointment with CAPS (psychotherapist), first meeting with my mentor (towards medicine), interview for a clinic volunteer position a (didn't get it :/ ), drove 8 hours home for Mother's Day and back. With all that, I still need to study for my midterm this week and a presentation for my student org. 

Things to remind yourself when things don’t fall into place: 

What I did,

It's been rough this last week. I felt myself losing motivation so for the first time I made a pep talk video. The purpose of this video was to motivate me to keep going because I literally felt like a failure for not getting that position. I don't feel this way now. It took several days to heal and a video to keep me going. I hope y'all can find it within yourselves and from others that you are so capable-and that you shouldn't let that one bad event/result determine your whole path. Things are tough and it will continue to get tough sometime-but-we are survivors. We learn to appreciate all the good moments to give us strength through all the other not-so-good moments.

Remind yourself this,

I'll be real for a second and say that sometimes things don't fall into place but that doesn't mean that you totally give up on your dreams. You get back up on your feet and find the next big thing that you want out of your life. Your path will not be the same as someone else's so don't compare your life with theirs. But whatever path you take-you will make it to point B. It won't be easy but believe you ca . You don't know what someone could be going through so always be gracious and kind.
