26-27/100 Days of Productivity 

Last week was super busy for me: first ever appointment with CAPS (psychotherapist), first meeting with my mentor (towards medicine), interview for a clinic volunteer position a (didn't get it :/ ), drove 8 hours home for Mother's Day and back. With all that, I still need to study for my midterm this week and a presentation for my student org. 

Things to remind yourself when things don’t fall into place: 

What I did,

It's been rough this last week. I felt myself losing motivation so for the first time I made a pep talk video. The purpose of this video was to motivate me to keep going because I literally felt like a failure for not getting that position. I don't feel this way now. It took several days to heal and a video to keep me going. I hope y'all can find it within yourselves and from others that you are so capable-and that you shouldn't let that one bad event/result determine your whole path. Things are tough and it will continue to get tough sometime-but-we are survivors. We learn to appreciate all the good moments to give us strength through all the other not-so-good moments.

Remind yourself this,

I'll be real for a second and say that sometimes things don't fall into place but that doesn't mean that you totally give up on your dreams. You get back up on your feet and find the next big thing that you want out of your life. Your path will not be the same as someone else's so don't compare your life with theirs. But whatever path you take-you will make it to point B. It won't be easy but believe you ca . You don't know what someone could be going through so always be gracious and kind.
