Yknow that scene in the Teen Titans cartoon where Dick comes home to see everyone else dressed in his costume. That seems like something that would have happened to Young Just Us.
oh 100% who doesnt want to be robin for a day?

If you’re still asking for DC characters and outfits I’d like to suggest Selina Kyle in a pinstripe suit.
Thats perfect! I'd so love to draw that!
So would beekeeping be a really vital profession in the flowers apocalypse?
There'd be so many dang flowers in this setting... so many bumble bees...
Surrounding yourself in a job with aromatic flowers AND sweet honey AND protective gear is like, guaranteed safety from any zombie so it’s a vital AND popular profession 👀
Sick of stories about Damian redeeming his past, ready for stories about him struggling to decide what he wants in the future. I think it could be so interesting, esp since an inability to imagine your future is a common side effect of childhood trauma.
I would like to see DC move on and just let Damian be a good person ;_; NGL i don't even know if he needs to decide what he wants for his future (tho it could be an interesting story) i'm like. he's 14. I want to see Damian get to be a kid.
WRT Damian redeeming his past... I'm not sure DC has tried to tell more than 1 story w/ this*, normally they're just like. "will he be good like his dad or bad like his grandpa ¯_(ツ)_/¯" 50 times in a row. The only story I think they've done about redemption is R:SoB, which is good from a Damian-POV, and doesn't need to be re-done. I think that what could be interesting is seeing the idea that he needs to be redeemed challenged by someone he trusts. like this was out of context panels b/c i had stopped reading by then but (link) why is "we must all pay" not challenged there? You have to keep apologizing for your childhood. I feel like that would be a great point for Talia to turn it around and be like "why must we pay Damian?" like. he has such a feeling of responsibility which makes sense for his character but also like. is definitely not making him happy.
for future stuff I definitely feel like Damian would feel a lot of pressure to be the best he can be, no matter what. like he's been told he has all this potential his entire life, he has sky high expectations, he wants to live up to them.
*Granted maybe Robin (2021) or shadow war got into that, I kind of stopped reading in the shadow war thing
I LOVE your Infinity Train AU, can I suggest one one being Tulip, Lake, and Jesse’s eclectic duo of guidance counselors.
Thank you!!!!! And ohhhh it's a good idea, I would never think about that and it really fits One-One! And it's great because he's not in this AU yet, I'm already thinking in ways to make it work hmmm
Thinkin about Bart and Booster
this is correct and also
Dawned on me that if Young Justice 98 was a TV show they would have had a musical episode in every season.
i am so.... on the fence in regards to musical episodes. which is. odd bc i love musicals lmao
maybe its the concept of a musical "episode" singular implying the rarity of the occasion, so its just jarring to see characters who have not operated in a musical format this whole time suddenly start playing by different rules (and then abruptly stop as soon as the episode ends) which is probably why i fucking love Galavant - the show fully commits to the medium of musicals from beginning to end and it is Fantastic - whereas almost every other show with a musical episode i find mostly cringey
EXCEPT, CRUCIALLY, most of the musical episodes on Community. it doesnt feel out of place because the format of the show is built around genres and throwing characters into different tropes etc, so like. when they do a glee episode its hilarious and the musicality aspect of it doesnt feel out of place bc theyre riffing on musical tropes
so bringing it all back around to yj, a comic that ALSO has very self aware humour and intentionally leans into the absurdity and tropes of the genre, hell they had a whole dimension hopping issue where the characters found themselves in westerns, detective thrillers, mecha anime, etc like...... a yj tv show done so so right would be to the superhero genre what community was for sitcom/tv tropes. a hilarious tongue-in-cheek simultaneous mocking and deep appreciation for all the corny tropes and all the silly costumes and all the shlocky melodrama. and like???? so long as they could both fit it into the story in a neat way and have it be funny as hell, ABSOLUTELY yj would have a seasonal musical episode no questions asked
Some god poofing into her living room in a plume of smoke and green fire: Behold, it is I-
Helena Sandsmark the skeptic , interrupting him without a beat and not looking down from her tablet: -an early eighth century metahuman with an eclectic assortment of abilities and a mythologically bloated ego. Now If you don’t mind I’m in the middle of some research, mark my words I WILL understand the proper context for the use of the phrase “Submissive and breedable”
the god, unsure what to do but leaning towards making a run for it: I’ll uh...leave you to it

Helena Sandsmark is an archeologist and a mother and by god she is going to excavate the entire internet to figure out her daughter's inscrutable youth culture, she doesn't have TIME to be receiving prophecies about Cassie's destiny she has to know what the hell "poor little meow meow" means
