2020-21 Retrospective: Vibrantly-Colored Butterflies of the Midwest (Part 1)
Sometimes, in spring and late summer, throngs of flying colors paint the open fields of Midwestern meadows.

Some butterfly chrysalis(is?? IDK the plural OOPS) are metallic and shiny! I love em. I believe they're spotted tiger glassywing butterflies in there, but I'm not 100% sure.
A common wood nymph finds sustenance from fool’s parsley.
A monarch enjoys a vast field of clover.
A butterfly exists as intended.
It lives in the sun and adores mint.
It darts and dances; skims and scoots; bounds and bounces.
It lives life in such a decent way.
I experience butterflies and clover every day. This, at least, is good.
