Closed Starter: @butterflyrps​ Plot: Danny & Soph... maybe they have consequences to pay for their casual hookup? Maybe not? We’ll find out in this episode of... y’all need to just get back together but in the mean time hot/angry sex might not be the way? Or maybe it is?

Sophie had waited until the workday was done before stopping by the store to grab the item, and then having a full internal battle back and forth on what she should do next. After a while, she decided she needed him, she needed to at least be near him if she was going to go through with this because whether he liked it, or not, he was still who she felt comfort around. That, and this might be his concern to deal with as well. What a fucking mess they’d made of everything.

Arriving at his place, Sophie grabbed her small backpack purse, the item she’d purchased inside it, and made her way to Danny’s door, ringing the bell. She was nervous, probably more than she’d ever been around him before, and she chewed on her bottom lip, and prayed that he wouldn’t just shut the door in her face in anger. The moment the door opened, her eyes lifted to his face. “Hey... I... can I come in?”

Blue eyes watched from behind the barely opened door. She didn’t seem to notice him. How far had she managed to get with her digging, Richard wondered. Probably not far. People like her father managed to hide their footprints rather well. “I though’ we had gone over this,” grumbled the hitman, finally stepping out of the shadows to reveal himself. “Ye’ shouldn’t be doin’ tha’.” Of all the jobs Richard Mayhew had taken this one was the most unorthodox, to say the least. Richard was a hitman. He was paid to take people out, and steal and smuggle the occasional pieces of blackmail or code. But to basically become his boss’s daughter’s bodyguard? Richard was paid to kill. Protecting, as far as he was concerned, wasn’t in his blood. Still, at least the job was easy... For the most part. It certainly didn’t help that Isabelle, at times, appeared to be rather stubborn, especially when it came to seeking out things she wasn’t supposed to. “Wha’ do ye’ expect to find with all tha’ diggin’, hm?”

Adra had always thought seeking help was an embarrassment. However, knowing that other people also faced similar problems or go through the same stages as she did gave her some solace. Besides, she rather listen to other people complain or share about their issues before getting to hers rather than having one-to-one sessions with a therapist. That was always a chore because Adra would usually end up staring at her lap, giving monotonous answers. So here she is, in the elevator, heading to the session for the second time. She decided to read a pamphlet on survivor's guilt to pass the time.

“Adra?”

Her heart jumped to her throat as she looked up at the person addressing her. A sense of panic began to rise in the pit of her stomach. It was as if her worst nightmare had come true, to have someone she knew - know her secret.  Her eyes widened in recognition. Insides squirming as her cheeks grew flushed. She quickly stuffed the pamphlet into her bag, hoping the other didn't notice what she was reading. No one was supposed to know that she’s going to this support group. She wished she could have hidden her facial expression. But Adra could not for the life of her, mask herself. The only good thing she could do was sarcasm but that wouldn’t work either.  “Hi.” That was all she could wrangle out of her throat.

“I’m kinda bummed more people don’t decorate their houses for Christmas anymore. I remember as a kid seeing so many decorated houses. Looking at all the lights and feeling cheerful and excited. But not anymore. Now it’s like one house per street. Or if they do decorate it’s just candles in the windows. Did people just get lazier or...?”

Jameson turned to face Isabelle, his wife. It still hadn’t hit him that they’d gotten married, but the smile on her face was radiant, and as he closed the space between them, he felt the answering smile on his own face. That natural loving glow of two people, newly married, showing in everything they said, or did.

Lifting one hand, Jameson cupped Isabelle’s face. He tucked some stray strands of hair behind her ear with his other hand before that arm went around her waist to draw her near. “I can’t stop looking at you, mon coeur. How could I get so lucky?” He whispered before claiming her lips in a deep, and yet slow kiss. He wasn’t going to rush her into anything. “I love you... let me show you how much.”

Closed Starter: @butterflyrps​ Plot: Sophie and Genevieve meet again after a scandal of their past that ruined their friendship. Sophie has agreed to check on her old friend and talk to her.

After speaking with Danny, Sophie had agreed to speak with her old friend. It had been years, and her anger had since died down. Despite that, she was still not looking forward to this conversation. She couldn’t imagine any instance in which this would be a good conversation for either of them, but here she was, standing before the address that Danny had given her. With a deep breath, Sophie lifted her fist and knocked on the door. She wasn’t sure what to expect, she hadn’t exactly been given any warnings on what she was going to find, but knowing Genevieve? It wasn’t likely to be great. All Sophie could hope for was that things would be better than she was anticipating.

She almost reconsidered as she stood at the door waiting for someone to answer, and was close to turning away when the door opened. “Surprise?” She said softly.

Closed Starter: @butterflyrps​  Plot: Jameson takes Isabelle out for their first date.

The kiss that Jameson had with Isabelle only the previous day was still on his mind. In fact, he hadn’t been able to get that moment out of his mind. Since he kept replaying that moment over and over in his mind, it only served to make him even more eager for the date that he had promised her this evening. After his shift had ended, which he had been adamant he had to leave on time, no exceptions, he’d gotten cleaned up and changed into nice, but still somewhat casual clothes. Jameson had made sure to pass along the memo on attire so that she didn’t feel she had to get dressed up all fancy, he wanted her to feel comfortable with him, after all.

Had Jameson not gone straight to Isabelle’s house after work, he would have picked up flowers for her, but it would have made him late, and that was something he wouldn’t chance. Arriving at her home, he jogged up to the door and waited for her to answer. He truly hoped that his plan went off without a hitch. He’d enlisted the assistance of his cousin, Diana, who seemed more than eager to help him get everything set up for a date. She was a hopeless romantic who wanted to see everyone in their family happy and in love. He had gone for something simple, and somewhat classic, hoping that would be good enough. Jameson wasn’t the sort of man fancy, high-end everything, he felt like there was a time and place for that, but normally he appreciated the simple things much more.

The moment that his eyes landed on Isabelle, he could hear his heartbeat loud and clear, a grin lighting up his face. He leaned in, taking one of her hands in his own so he could lace his fingers with hers and then placed a soft kiss on her lips. “Honestly, I’ve been thinking about you since the moment we said goodbye yesterday... Are you ready to go?”
