Saw the Buttertones live on Saturday and it was really a dream come true. Their music helped me through the worst of my depression & when I was in an awful relationship.

Richard (the lead singer) was awesome & he was even talking to me outside after the gig & got me to start Dionysus (my favourite song by them). I thought I was gonna cry many times.

listening to the buttertones is either like I spent all day surfing and drinking and now I’m passed out in the early morning light vibing with the sun or it’s like I am trapped in a very strangely constructed haunted house that may or may not be in california and I’m pretty sure if I leave someone is going to run me over with a possessed car
