Ingredients: 8 oz salmon fillet, skin removed. 8 oz linguine pasta. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup chicken broth. 1 lemon, zest and juice. 1/4 cup heavy cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish. Grated Parmesan cheese optional, for serving.
Instructions: Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Season salmon fillet with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Place salmon fillet in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, pour in chicken broth and lemon juice. Scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the lemon butter sauce. Flake the cooked salmon into bite-sized pieces and gently fold into the pasta. Season with lemon zest, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
