My boyfriend, I love him to death, cannot understand how I use up thread when I sew a new button onto pants.
I described to him how the whole thing works and went over the full process. I have even shown him how to sew a button onto pants.
He still cannot understand where all the thread goes...so...
He has decided that sewing is arcane magic and that in order to sew a button onto pants you put thread in your needle simply so that a button goblin can eat the thread and in exchange the goblin attaches the button to the pants.
I’m making voodoo dolls for an upcoming con and the buttons are making my inner goblin smile. This isn’t even all of them. Im sooooo happy right now.
