A musical tribute to Ancient Egypt.
Musical composition “The Holy Lotus”: an attempt to reconstruct pharaonic music. Inspired by the artistry of the ancient treasures and religious symbolism of the Egyptian Book of the Dead, which suggested the titles of the compositions. Only traditional Near Eastern instruments are used for this recording, such as the nay, salamiyyah, buzuq, mijwiz, mizmar and others.
