zugene - they are slow burn. the slowest fucking burn. it’s ugly how slow of a burn it is. keith and ned have to fucking force them together. but when they do get together (at a school dance, of all fucking places) they are a gross pda couple. so in love. it’s nasty.

ned/ariel - they are….. literally so cute. okay so ned carries all of ariel’s books around and ariel has ‘mrs. fulmer’ doodled in the margins of her notebooks and one day ned sees it while holding her chem book and actually cries thinking “fuck im gonna marry that girl one day.”

standrew - okay these boys are so fucking cute and it warms my heart. every friday is their date night and they take each other to their fave restaurants… of course they’re a lil poor so it’s not always the fanciest establishment but you better bet for their year anniversary in sophomore year (bc yeah they started dating in freshman year….. fight me on it) they go all fucking out.

becky/keith - they grew up together, their moms are on the pta together, and they would always play like ninja warrior dragon fighters as children. (keith was always a dragon who hoarded food and becky was a ninja warrior fighter who always wore a morph suit.)

ashtel - ashly works at a fast food restaurant and chantel always comes in to hang with her after her shift. she won’t order any fast food but she has to order something to hang around so she orders one coffee and sits in her corner with her book until ash is ready to leave. all of ashly’s coworkers just think her girlfriend is weirdly coffee-addicted.

shyan - their first date, is, of course, to a scary movie. ryan tries to do the yawn and stretch thing within the first ten minutes but he’s too short so he fails. this causes shane to die of laughter, cackling for a good ten minutes, patrons sitting around them shushing them and ryan trying to ask satan to open the ground and swallow him up.

and this one is a bonus bc no one but me ships them but. after seeing this video. i can’t not.

bonus: jen/kelsey (jelsey) - one day jen finds kelsey drunkenly crying at eugene’s party (fucking everyone is there - drama kids, band kids, cheerleaders, science geeks, etc. everyone.) and she sits down next to her, quiet for a while, and is like “you okay??” and kelsey puts on a big drunken kelsey smile and is like “yep!! perfectly fine, just unlovable and intolerable, but what else is new.” and then she starts crying again bc she doesn’t have a prom date and it’s a month away and she doesn’t want to ask eugene to go to another dance with her bc he’s dating zach and - “i’ll go with you.” kelsey laughs, and then stutters when jen looks serious. “wait, fuck you, seriously?” “yeah. i’m not dating anyone and you’re really cool, kelsey. i mean, if you want to go with me - “ “i’ll go if you want to.” “uh, yeah, i’d like that.” long story short they decide to go as “friends” and then as “friends with benefits” and then another girl asks jen to dance at prom and kelsey gets jealous and they end up “girlfriends.”

every time i see “ladylike anon” in my inbox i honestly just weep ur my hero. sorry this took so long i was at a family party and then i finished black mirror the day before yester and then yesterday there was another family party so it took a day oops pls forgive me ladylike anon.

eugene is the most often party-thrower bc neither parent is ever at their respective house.

kelsey gets FUCKED UP and jen follows behind, a cup in hand, simultaneously cheering on her girlfriend’s batshit crazy antics and apologizing for her

the ladylike gang is all there getting fucking. crunk. devin and kristin are running around drinking wine, turning into those girls who cry and compliment you and give you candy out of nowhere. chantel and freddie both become 10x more ruthless when they drink. any minor infractions now become major infractions. sorry i don’t make the rules. jen usually just gets more mischievous and is more likely to go along with kelsey’s fucking bonkers plans.

the try guys are always mingling with the ydy girls. zach and sara are drunkenly talking about space, eugene and quinta are drinking each other under the table, ashly and ella are going up against ned and keith in a beer pong match on a table that??? no one really knows where it came from???

the spooky boys and the worth it boys are hanging out together too. this includes zack evans and adam too. so ryan and andrew are doing Stupid drunk shit, probably daring each other to like fucking scale walls and shit; steven and shane are standing off to the side, shane keeping a side eye on the boyfs while he listens to steven talk about food endlessly. adam stands there wide eyed sighing in despair while zack evans tries to drink from two kegs at once.

andrew and ashly hook up at a party early freshman year and date for like. ten seconds. then they both realize they’re hella fucking gay and break up, hugging, crying in relief. then andrew promptly begins dating steven.

keith and becky DEFINITELY hook up at a party and then try to pretend it never happened for like six months before giving in and dating.

freddie and chantel hook up one time. (pre-ashtel of course.) it’s awkward and funny and definitely a one-off bc freddie isn’t typically attracted to women, and chantel doesn’t hook up with friends. they laugh about it later but damn it was good sex.

justin and zack. kind of. hook up at every party. so much so that everyone thinks they’re dating. they’re literally not. they have no (0) romantic feelings towards each other. they just very casually end up having sex. at every party. what the fuck. (especially after justin and quinta break up.)

you know how jen likes to climb?? one time eugene had a christmas party. and guess who was both the star and the angel on top of the fucking tree. that’s right. she just sits up there. and someone, idk maybe ryan, comes around and is like “???? what the fuck why is she up there????” and steven and kelsey, who are both standing at the bottom of the tree looking up at drunk jen, sigh in unison and go “she likes to feel tall”

once zach and eugene start dating..,.,,,, NO ONE can find them during parties. fucking no one. they’re gone.

shane and ryan always fucking insist on campfire ghost stories. and honestly they’re so funny that no one really minds. all kinds of people from all over the party gather around and listen to them. ryan starts off REALLY seriously with good intent for an actual ghost story, but then shane interjects and takes over, making it 10x more ridiculous. then ryan does the same. and they go back and forth like that and it’s so fucking funny.

the more drunk they become, the more affectionate ashly and chantel get. by their first drinks you can find them holding hands. by their fourth drinks you can find chantel actually on ashly’s lap. by their sixth drinks you actually. don’t want to find them.

kelsey is either a crazy drunk or a sad drunk. so people (zach and eugene and jen being “people”) begin to take bets on whether or not she’s going to be in tears or in her underwear by the end of the night. (somehow, zach always wins. no one knows how.)

so yeah buzzfeed high goes. hard. for parties.

jen and ryan, at the very beginning of their relationship in freshman year, gave andrew the “hurt him and we’ll hurt you” talk. ashly didn’t do that to steven but did subtly assess him to check out his worthiness. (get it worthiness worth it.) anyways you can thank @leiasreys for this one.

YOU CAN ALSO BLAME HER FOR THIS ONE okay so they take a bunch of those couples quizzes (you know the type. buzzfeed quizzes.) and they took one on astrology compatibility and got a REALLY low score and steven was. crushed.

aww thank you!!! and also AWWW HELLLLL YEAH - as i have said before, ladylike is definitely the cheerleading team. devin is the captain - safiya was originally the captain but when she transferred to an overpriced prep school and freddie (wisely) refused to take the job, devin stepped up. she doesn’t really keep people in line and she’s kind of a mess but everyone likes her so it’s okay. - freddie is second in charge and she’s everybodys best friend. if you ask everyone separately who their fave team mate is (besides themself) they all say freddie. she’s funny and stylish and sassy and she loves everyone. (if you asked her who her fave was, she would say safiya. upon further pressing, she would say chanti.) - kristin is the resident mom friend. she looks out for everyone and checks in on them when they’re sad or sick and makes them soup. she’s so good everyone loves kristin - JEN IS A LITTLE PUNK. she’s so funny and crazy and she can’t sit still for her fucking life. she wears leather jackets over her cheer uniform and devin tries and fails to yell at her. she’s also the resident big ole lesbian and will often put live frogs, skunks, and bugs into the locker of any person who talks shit about any of her friends or lgbt community. - chanti. everyone fucking loves her she’s the best. not only is she the most flexible and talented on the team (she and jen are always the ones being tossed and she always does all the splits and stuff) but she’s also just genuinely a good person. even tho she’s a little shady lowkey. she has receipts on receipts and she always shares them in the squad group chat (freddie saves them and jen writes weird responses like “ROFLCOPTER.” one time devin even removed her from the gc bc of that). - chanti is kind of unseen for like the full first year of high school but at the end of the year freddie talks her into trying out for the team and everyone is.,, SHOOK - this includes a little nerd named ashly perez - she wears glasses and does all the homework assigned (and even some extra) and is absolutely head over heels for the newest cheerleader but. she’s so awkward she can’t Interact for fear. - so over the summer between freshman and sophomore year, quinta throws a party and she (ashly’s nosiest friend) and fred (chantel’s nosiest friend) conspire to at Least have them talk to each other - so they literally shove them at each other and ash spills her drink all over chanti and is blushing and stuttering and chantel is like “no worries!! it’s okay stop apologizing!!” - they are Instant friends. they hit it off right away. they don’t really meld their friend groups or anything but like they’re really close and they talk and text all the fucking time. it’s ridiculous that they’re not dating and the cheerleaders and ashlys friends are all so tired of it. - so one day ashly is complaining to quinta like “UGH she’s so pretty and wonderful but she would never go for a nerd like me ://////” and quinta is like “ash stfu. i’ll give u a makeover tho if u want.” - so she does and the next day ashly walks in, very sandy from grease, contacts in and hair down and everything - and chantel smiles and is like “you look so good!!!” but her smiles isn’t reaching her eyes and - ash is like “??? what’s wrong????” and chantel is like “well… it’s just… you love your glasses and…. you look really good but you don’t usually like stuff like this and…. are you comfortable? i want you to be comfy and happy and - ” - ash kisses her on the mouth - from that day on they are a Power Couple…. rule the school….. actually prom queens….. loves of each other’s lives….. okay this got a little away from me but hope you enjoyed!! for more check out my buzzfeed high series. 🖤🖤

I LOVE THEM TOO god that show is so great and they’re such a good friendship so let’s expand in Depth shall we

no one really knows how they became friends. not even them really. most people say garrett like bugged niki until she became friends with him, but that’s not true bc niki loves garrett like a brother so he could never ‘bug’ her at all. they’re Friends and that is fuckin that.

definitely sleep over at each other’s houses constantly even though they both complain about the other’s house. (niki’s shower, for example, is too small for big friendly giant garrett werner and he suffers, but i digress.)
