I LOVE THEM TOO god that show is so great and they’re such a good friendship so let’s expand in Depth shall we

no one really knows how they became friends. not even them really. most people say garrett like bugged niki until she became friends with him, but that’s not true bc niki loves garrett like a brother so he could never ‘bug’ her at all. they’re Friends and that is fuckin that.

definitely sleep over at each other’s houses constantly even though they both complain about the other’s house. (niki’s shower, for example, is too small for big friendly giant garrett werner and he suffers, but i digress.)

excellent example of cat person and dog person. in FACT and im sorry but i love this. they get each other these sweaters for christmas and wear them all the time. they also do the dance. all their other friends hate it so fucking much and they LOVE IT.

make lots of old meme references and have inside jokes no one else understands.

niki calls garrett ‘big bird’ and he calls her ‘abby cadabby’

when she feels at her most introverted but still wants to hang out garrett will come over and watch a complete movie in silence and go home, even though he itched to say so many things during it but he Stays Silent

their favorite meme is the bee movie and they talk about it constantly so much so that their friends just naturally associate them with the bee movie at this point

accidentally wore the same outfit (which consisted of a graphic t-shirt and casual khakis) to school one time

garrett has actually fucking fought someone he heard talking shit about niki. like really fought them. they got hurt pretty bad. he was suspended but the lesson was learned and no one talks about his friend anymore.

when she first gets with gabi he interrogates her but like not even subtly he like hangs with her and goes between hardball and softball questions so fast like

“what’s your favorite color?” “green” “do you have deep seeded emotional issues” “uhh” “what’s your favorite animal?” “uhhhh zebra??? i don’t -” “will u break her heart? bc i will end you :3″

the plan is to live next to each other one day in matching houses
