I went to comicon thinking that I am going to have to defend BvS. But the second panel I attend (DC Rebirth) they are defending the shit out of it. I love my fellow comic book readers!

just spend 2 hours vouching for BvS I feel so alive i have two converts
Alfred is such a sassy little shit in BvS. I love it. I love this version of Alfred. He is wonderful and perfect and he fits so well with Ben's Bruce. He is wonderful and I love it. I'm so happy Jermey Irons played him. It's such a different take on him and it's wonderful and I'm just so happy with this whole movie.
Okay so this guy on the radio was giving a review of BvS (not a good one) but one of his legit complaints was that he didn’t know that the lady at Luthor’s party and dancing with Bruce was wonder woman. And he was SO UPSET that he didn’t know…..
And I was sitting there thinking that was the damn point. For the audience members who don’t follow movie news, or know whose playing her would be given an exciting and interesting surprise. When Bruce opens the wonder woman file and you see her for the first, the clueless audience (ie you radio dude) are suppose to go ‘HOLY SHIT THAT WAS WONDER WOMAN, ….I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW SHE WAS IN THE MOVIE. AMAZING’.
But here radio dude is livid that he didn’t know, that’s on you for not following movie news actively enough to know. And WW was in all their promo, so like don’t get mad for never noticing!!! AND how does not knowing ultimately effect anything, besides you complaining that you weren’t in the loop…..
(ps… he also didnt know why Alfred was alive if Bruce was old, and didnt get why there had to be “this senator lawyer person” cause he doesn’t realize that Finch was created for BvS…)
If God is all powerful, he cannot be all good. And if he is all good he cannot be all powerful
Lex Luthor making his motivation clear in one sentence. Lex wants to distort Superman’s godlike persona that has become a beacon of hope for many people of Earth. And this is directly related to his childhood, where he talks about how his father was verbally/physically abusive towards him. And Lex had hope that God would intervene and bring him to justice, but that did not occur - and that severed Lex’s ties with God. And now he has the power, money, influence, and trauma to fuel his motivation to eliminate the closest semblance to God, Superman. Just like Bruce, Superman was the proverbial straw that spiraled Lex down this path again. His father is dead and he can’t exactly get revenge, but he also blames God and Superman is his surrogate for God so he shifts his hatred all on him. If God didn’t save him when he needed him the most, why should other people be saved. He wants to show that even God, and in extension, Superman can be morally conflicted. He wants to unmask God/Superman to how he perceives them to be.
After countless of negative reviews and feedback from both the fans and critics, I decide I'm going to make a stand. All opinion of course, but here, I back ...
I just realized comicon is going to unbearable. Seems like my DC Defending gloves aren't going to come off this year......
