TL; DR: Minus 18 (who run a Same Sex Gender Diverse Formal (dance) every year) decided this year to crowdfund tickets for LGBTQA youth who couldn't afford the $40 entry
Bunch of fucking nutters decide this means "WE CAN BUY ALL THE TICKETS AND THEY'RE NOT TRANSFERABLE OR REFUNDABLE SO IT MEANS THAT QUEER YOUTH CAN'T GO BECAUSE ALL THE TICKETS ARE BOUGHT MWAHAHAHHAHA"
Result: Crowdfunding event was aiming for $15,000. They have currently raised over $45,000 and as a consequence are moving to a bigger venue to allow more people to attend.
