Targlings Week - DAY 1: Rhaenys and Rhaegar (AU)
During her eighteenth year, Princess Rhaenys was appointed, among sceptics, as the Hand of the King, serving at her Father's side for years, even convincing her eventual husband to years of residence in the capital in lieu of his own seat, at Highgarden.
Though fruitful and lasting, the collaboration did not always run smoothly, between King Rhaegar and the Princess, often being at odds in regards to legal and administrative choices. Lords would often see at such times the opportunity to encourage substituents for the office, but the King would decline the necessity. "She is right, but she is young and passionate, and dreams of too big, too soon." And if there's anything the King may have derived from the past, it's the danger of rush decisions.
