Shaking, gloved hands encircle my form, fueled with uncertainty. As if my entire existence would vanish at the wrong move or at the slightest change in pressure. Usually someone of their size would be far more careless with a being like me, unafraid of the living presence within their palms.
But they aren't.
It's as though they are scared of me, scared of unrealistic consequences beyond control. Such fear and utmost care is... unnatural. As unnatural as fate has placed myself in their grasp with a drumming heartbeat and terror gushing through my own veins.
And the silence of the moment will continue on.
