Stockholm - sunset
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re Doing Something.
So that’s my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody’s ever made before. Don’t freeze, don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.
Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, Do it.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever. ——-Neil Gaiman

Love
Love is an emotion, and like all emotions it is expressed in many ways. Love can be the most beautiful thing you have ever felt, or it can be the most painful place you have ever walked into. Why do we love? There are many reasons. Who do we love? There are many different people. How is love? There only two ways how love is. Love can be the rose petal or it can be the thorn that pricks you if you aren't careful. Love can be the antidote that cures you of your worries or it can be the poisonous venom that seeps through your veins ripping your heart apart. Love can be the bringer of sight, that shows you another side of yourself that you have never seen, or it can be the blindfold that blocks all of reality. Love can be the flaming passion that warms your soul or it can burn you and roast you inside out. Love is a scary and risky emotion. You may love the right person who is perfect in many ways for you. Or love one who doesn't recognize your existence. Love is beautiful, yes. But is love always beautiful? All these stories of happy endings and you don't see one story of a horrible climax. Love is portrayed as the most amazing thing and your brainwashed to believe that love prevails and always wins. But love can take you to deepest pit in hell. Is it right that we show only happiness deluding ourselves into thinking that there is no negativity in the entity of love? If love prevails and always wins why do I see you my young one crying on the floor? We haven't warned you that love can be painful. It can be very painful. It's a calamity that can befall us all. Or it can be a blessing. But what are the chances of that happening. Your whole life you have been painted an image of only the happiness of love and what happens if it works. But you haven't seen the whole mural on the wall that shows a detailed description of what love can be. Love can be painful yes and it can be happiness. But you are the one who decides on that. You choose it to be either pleasure or pain. You chose to love him because he cared for you. You chose to love him when he shows no sign of ever returning those feelings. You chose to love him even though you knew damn well that he wasn't perfect You chose to love him when you thought he was the perfect guy. You chose You chose You chose You chose So who's fault is it yours or his? He didn't ask for your love you just chose to give it to him, willingly. But what you didn't realize is he loved someone else. And that safety bubble that you thought you and him were in together. It turned out to be nothing more than just you. You thought he was there. But you were blind this whole time. He was busy loving another woman. Love does blind you and love can give you your sight. And the guy that you ignored, was that one perfect guy that took off your blind fold.
