WHITE CHICKS (2004) Dir. Keenen Ivory Wayans
i finished the cat bookshelf pillow, and didn’t take a picture of the back which is another of my mom’s embroidered work shirts (which is also the yellow in the cat’s eyes). this one is for my sister in law. everything but the blue border is my mom’s clothes.
then i made this basket that i had put off for like a year. these things take 20 minutes. i’ve made dozens of them. idk why i procrastinated so long lmao
Such super-cute fabric bins by Caroline at Sew Can She. They use the Soft and Stabe foam stabilizer and the (free) Petit Four pattern by ByAnnie.com. I need to make a few!
Whether you’re a seasoned sewist or just starting out, tackling a project like the Out to Lunch 2.0 Large bag is both rewarding and practical. The sense of accomplishment when you see your hand-stitched creation in daily use is unmatched—especially when it turns heads with its custom quilting and thoughtful details. This project taught me the value of using quality tools and following well-designed instructions, and I can’t recommend the By Annie patterns enough for their clarity and their supportive resources. With a bag that’s not only functional but also an expression of creativity, bringing your own lunch never felt so satisfying—or stylish!

What's in Your Bag!

I actually picked one of the easiest bags I had done so far. I picked “Pocket Packers“. All of the fabric and supplies were provided to me for free by Island Batik. Bags by Annie also contributed them in my role as a 2024…
