Seth remained in place, watching his soulmate disappear with the spirit shaped as a bear. He said nothing but his coal colored eyes set on her profile she knew anger brewed. She knew as if someone scratched their nails on her skin - and she knew why.
“The kingdom moves in two days.” She continued to watch until Adamar’s light had been swallowed by the darkness. Her chin wobbled as she fought the burning in her throat, the itching need to scream was not hers. It was his - Seth. “And you do not think she will make it back in time.”

Before she could finish the word, a summons it would seem for thick fingers gripped her cheeks and pressed until her jaw ached. She didn’t look at him but instead closed her eyes.
