"Demisexual and asexual are not 'secondary' sexualities." yes they are, otherwise you're just straight and want to make you look special, but w/e you do with your genitals is not the community's or anyone's business. Again, "ace" can be a label if you're aroace, and being asexual isn't the same thing if you can have feelings for s/o. And AGAIN I'm saying Hira said THAT cause he's KID, not cause he's "demisexual". And ofc you'd erase Kiyoi's sexuality from the book, sorry but he's very much gay
They're not. It depends entirely on the weight a person puts of different parts of their sexuality.
And I don't care about the book.
Hira could be saying that because he's a kid. Or he could be saying that because he's demisexual and has only experience attraction towards Kiyoi and no one else and might change later as he experiences more or might not.
Kiyoi can be gay in the book but the drama does not specify and I'm not saying he isn't gay. I'm saying that the show does not state it outright and that is okay.
Asexual can absolutely be a person's sexual even if they're not aromantic. I considering myself asexual without any other sexualities or romance labels because I haven't found one that fits. I am not being a special straight person, I am a person still figuring myself out.
I see that we disagree of a fundamental level what erasure and sexuality mean as well as what it means to identify as demi or ace.
I will not be replying to more asks in this vein as I feel I have said everything I can to explain and I understand if it won't change your mind and you won't change mine.
From what canon has give me, I consider Hira to be primarily demisexual and gay due to who he's attracted to (Kiyoi). Kiyoi is a gay character, though not outright stated in the drama as such, because all of his behavior points tot hat.
That is all I have to say on this. Any more asks on this topic will be deleted and may be blocked if they become increasingly aggressive.
