Resignation Email
Hey there boss, I hope this email finds you well to be honest with you, this job is hell 60 hours a week have me asking why was I born to sit at this one desk then die?
I’ve spent my life in front of screens and I don’t think it’s what life means I’ve been confined to these four walls but now I think I want it all
If you haven’t noticed, this is my notice though I hope you already know this I haven’t been me but I’ve been mean cause I come home and then have to leave so I’m leaving this behind consider all of our future meetings declined
I’m sorry that I can’t see a future here it isn’t something you can fix with a free beer I have these dreams that I‘ve got to pursue and boss, i’m sorry, none of these dreams involve you
I came in here craving worth it’s safe to say this made it worse I’ve took enough strolls down these halls now I think I want it all
If you haven’t noticed, this is my notice though I hope you already know this I haven’t been me but I’ve been mean cause I come home and then have to leave so I’m leaving this behind consider all of our future meetings declined
Another day, another post, another line, another roast “bring your ideas, but not those ideas, why can’t you see, I wish you’d just be us” call me lazy, call me dumb but I want to live my life before it’s done and I don’t have a life here therefore I’m done
If you haven’t noticed, this is my notice though I hope you already know this I haven’t been me but I’ve been mean cause I come home and then have to leave so I’m leaving this commute, this desk, this life behind please consider this email my goodbye
