When you have to fulfill Amazon and EBay orders while at the same time you have to send shipments to AMZ FBA realizing your out of energy and need more endurance throughout the day I’d take BYLT which is way better than Powerade or Gatorade. I picked up this bottle from the LA Fit Expo the past weekend. This stuff kept me going like the Energizer Bunny. Thanks BYLT for making my day!
Adoration
I have a conversation with myself as I fall apart under my bed sheet, and call upon unearthly forces to hold me tight at night. Bylt. This was our conversation last night:

B: "Your seas... Have turned to slates of... Glass? Ice?"
P: "Well, you would know the answer to that, would you not?"
B: "I have no land to walk on."
P: "Why would you need to? You are the thick, dark obsidian obelisk piercing through my heart to the very core of my soul, up to the immense himmel ewig of my mind."
B: "But the seas are stopped, now cracking and buckling under the weight of itself."
P: "But it is not all ice, no?"
B: "No. Nearer to your core, the turrets rush and still crash against each other. Detachment. But how will the stars see if you have hidden the sea?"
P: "They don't need to see. I only need you."
B: "Then, my queen, I wait. On the brink of your deflowering, while your venerated crown like walls of Valhalla still hold back the waves of unworthy maggots - I wait on your steppe of immense icebergs for the burning waters to break through, and drown your being. That even the filth outside our walls will be cleansed, through the torrents passing, and made anew. That I may float, then sink, in utmost bliss, until you subdue the flood, birthing the world anew; I love you."
P: "I don't know what I would do without you -"

SESAME CUCUMBER SALAD

SPCIY RED CURRY MUSSELS
I am very excited about dinner tonight because today we stopped at the farmers market to pick up some fresh PEI mussels. They were the main inspiration behind this flavor packed menu. Right away my mind went to two of my favorite restaurants to order mussels from, and I created my own hybrid of the two.
What you'll need:
Mussels, prepped and cleaned.
A can of coconut milk with meat - found usually in Asian section.
Good white wine - we used a Sauv Blanc and it was perfect.
Chopped cilantro, to cook with and to garnish.
Sliced jalapeño and thai asian peppers - if you're not a fan of spicy, mince it instead.
Lots of sliced garlic.
Thinly sliced shallot.
Thai red curry paste.
Minced ginger - for convenience I've used the pre minced kind that come in a tube by the herbs usually.
A couple dashes of fish sauce.
Half stick of butter.
Fresh lime, for juicing and for garnish.
Melt the butter in a large pan over medium high heat and add garlic, peppers, shallot, and ginger. Let soften for several minutes and then add 2-3 teaspoons of red curry paste. Stir around until fragrant. Add about 1 cup of white wine and simmer gently for a couple minutes before adding the coconut. Because the can of coconut also has the pulp along with the milk, it separates into solid and liquid. Don't be alarmed if it looks inedible, its creamy and delicious. Slowly dump the whole can into the pan and gently stir it together. Once it looks fully incorporated, pink and creamy, add the lime juice and fish sauce. Let simmer for a couple more minutes, then you're about ready for the good stuff. Give a taste check and adjust flavors if needed. Gently add your squeaky clean mussels to the pan and cover for 4-6 minutes until they are open and easily pull away from the shell. Discard any that didn't open. (All of ours did - score!)
Tip: Our favorite way to eat them is by cracking the shell in half and loosening the mussel, leaving it in one half of the shell. Take that half and dip it into the juices at the bottom of the bowl, and make sure to get a garlic or pepper slice on there too! Savory, bright, sweet, creamy, spicy, and overall a winning recipe to dig into. I especially love eating this family style with everyone sitting around the table. Just make sure to keep napkins around, wet naps come in very handy here!
